Josh wasn't letting him breathe you could see he was gassed after 5 rounds , fought on the defensive moat of the fight how the fuck does that get you a 117 to 111 score card , fuck Eddie hern and his bs boxing bribes
He was gassed in the second half and i thought Taylor was active enough for it to be close. Jack needs improvement to beat some of the 140 champs.

Jamie Moore, So humble and a top lad. Box'ed with him when he was 15, Watched him win the European and seen him fight the best in the world (Cotto) . A class act that guy proud to of known him. Reffed my last fight too. It got called a draw and he started laughing when i said xxxx it lets do another round, They wont let you do that John :)
Congrats to Jack Catterall. He beat a fit, fired up and determined Josh Taylor. Styles make fights and for as hard as Josh Taylor pushed, Jack had an answer to almost anything Josh did.
During the Taylor v Postol fight, Josh had to make amendments to his style to adapt to Postol’s early dominance. It showed that he was capable of adjusting during a fight. He adapted and eventually won the fight.
Jack Catterall could not miss Josh with almost any counter he threw. It appeared that Josh had not made the changes in training to adapt. I do feel that the necessary experience was lacking in his corner. I believe that Shane McGuigan would have trained / instructed him better but maybe Jack simply has the style that will beat Josh no matter what.
Right man won. And he shouldn't have a loss on his record either. I had it 7-5 jack.

Catterall has gone up massively in my estimation, im a huge Josh Taylor fan and always will be but this kid boxed beautifully last night and deserved the victory. Scorecards are an irrelevance, the right guy won last night without a doubt. Hope he gets a shot i really do because he deserves one, whether or not he gets it in a division where the belts are so tied up is another story.

i did see jack look tired in the later rounds which let Taylor back in..not really seen it in hes past fights that much so Jack needs to sort that issue out

He won clearly 🎉 it wasn’t a close fight!! Taylor had explosive moments for sure! But nothing to talk about. He got what was coming to him! Taylor knew he didn’t win the first! And he knew not too long into this he wasn’t gonna win! He has heart fair play to him! Took some powerful shots and avoided the canvas! But he lost both fights! Both of them

Great fight, thought Catterall won by a couple of rounds. Worrying signs with his tank in the last half of the fight, though. And credit it to josh, he's as tough as they come and didn't stop trying all night.
Fare play to the wee man, All champions fall. Time for Taylor to hand them up and be happy with the career he's had. No ones going to do what he done anytime soon.

Pleased for jack as the last fight should have went his was and should have had the belts due to shit judging..
The cards were far to wide but jack got the game play correct and nullified taylors attacks with counters. Taylor should have gone up a weight after 1st fight. These 2 fights have wrecked his chances or a 2 weight champ. No 3rd fight pls.

Catterall won clearly 8-4 but can’t see 1 world champion that he’d beat. Taylor only looked good for 3/4 rounds and I think jack will struggle with any of the top dogs
