Today I am bringing you a recipe for Coffee Buns (also known as RotiBoy, Kopi Roti and Papparoti) is a slightly sweet yeasted bread with a crunchy coffee topping. I hope you like the recipe and the video.
------- 🛒 INGREDIENT FOR THE BREAD:
• 330 grams. plain flour (2 1/2 cups)
• 150 ml. milk (2/3 cup)
• 1 beaten egg
• 42 grams. softened butter (3 tablespoons)
• 2 teaspoon instant yeast
• 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
• 4 tablespoon sugar
• 50 grams of cold butter, divided into 10 equal parts for the filling
------- 🛒 INGREDIENTS FOR THE TOPPING:
• 4 tablespoon powdered/glass sugar (50 grams)
• 4 tablespoon softened butter (1/4 Cup, 57 grams)
• 70 grams of all purpose flour (9 tbsp)
• 1 beaten egg
• 2 teaspoons of warm water (10 ml)
• 2 teaspoon instant coffee
• 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder, optional
