Honorable sir,
Could you please explain how speech and narration can be the same that I have seen in most of the grammar books. My opinion, they are not the same. Because, speech refers to someone's statement whereas narration stands for narrating something that has been already told by someone. So,I Can't relate them in the same meaning.Sir,you know much more than me in English.So, please help in removing the confusion. Narrated speech can be the alternative to narration but how can be only speech similar to narration?
