  • In this video, we dive into a surprising revelation from well-known Christian podcaster Laterras R. Whitfield, who has previously spoken openly about his commitment to abstinence and sexual purity. However, recent discussions and actions suggest that Whitfield may no longer be upholding the abstinent lifestyle he once promoted. This has sparked questions, debates, and concerns within the Christian community, especially among his followers who looked up to him for guidance in this area.
This video is meant to foster an open conversation about the realities of maintaining Christian values in a world full of temptation. While no one is perfect, the sudden shift in Laterras R. Whitfield's personal life raises important questions about leadership, accountability, and grace.
Let us know what you think: Should Christian leaders be held to higher standards? Or should there be more understanding and support when they face personal challenges? Leave your thoughts in the comments below, and don't forget to subscribe for more discussions on faith, life, and current events in the Christian community. #LaterrasWhitfield #ChristianPodcaster #Christian

That’s what should really be addressed is the consequences. That’s what kept me from “doing it” before I got married. I didn’t want to suffer the consequences, the Lord knows were tempted because our bodies are natural and created to procreate… so I didn’t want to make the Lord upset even though I did because I lied a time or too but I tried my hardest and definitely didn’t want the consequences of premarital sex.

I heard a pastor say “ We need to ask God to help us hate sin!” All sin… no matter what it is, has to be dealt with drastically. Stop making provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. I used to watch his Dear Wifey podcast, and the abstinence dabocle was the final straw that convicted me to stop watching the sinful mess. He did a 3 hour abstience podcast ceremony (nope, I didn't watch it), then, 5 months after, he was laughing and joking with a female interviewee and laughed and told everyone he "fell off" after the 3 hour abstinence vow ceremony. God pretty much told me I was going to get the lightning strike if I continued to partake in and give support to his misrepresentation of God. P.S. I am divorced after being chested on by my ex, and since separating in 2016 and divorcing in 2018, I ha e been abstinent. I'm living for God, and if I'm single for the rest of my life, I'll be abstienrt for the rest of my life. I LOVE GOD and JESUS and am submitted to Him (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost). I'm not perfect, but I finally surrendered and committed my body and relationship status to God in 2016 as God healed me through my separation and divorce. I have NOT "fallen" or "backslidden" since I also have created boundaries. I have never had a man in my house nor been in a man's house (day or since I was with my husband in 2016. I don't talk on the phone after 10 pm. I haven't and will not tongue kiss or make out with anyone but my husband. Andddd, I study my Word, pray, serve in my church, and in my community, have passions I enjoy weekly (boxing workout classes, I train a 15 yr old athlete, I roller skate, I go to movies and I talk with and pray with when needed my 3 Christians girlfriends, etc.). I'm 47 years old and haven't been as joyful and had as much peace on my life since living with my mind, soul, and BODY, surrendered to God. It's NOT hard if you want to do it and want to please God in that area, but I daily pray for strength and to be covered to continue this abstinence journey successfully, and I'm happy as I do it. It's not in my own strength, but by following Christ and the life He wants me to live, it makes walking and living this life for him enjoyable and worth (p.s. I've never cursed, drank, or smoked, and still have no desire to do that to this day). It is an amazing life and so amazing to live for God. Don't let anyone tell you it's boring; that's their excuse for remaining in their son because they don't want to change. Accept Jesus in your heart, repent and change your ways and follow Him, and you won't want to turn back to anything. You thought was great in your previous lifestyle.❤

Because the problem is a woman will want to wait and know it is wrong to indulge in sex pre- marriage, this man will come along to said woman and convince her/influence/LEAD her to commit the deed and then he changes his.mind about her. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. [19] Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, [20] for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Self control is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Sexual discipline is a part of being submitted to God. Additionally if you are fornicating before marriage, you will probably keep fornicating after marriage because you have made a Habit of feeding lust. That’s not going to automatically stop because you get married.

I think he apologized and said the same ol stuff he's saying now.
Plus they were both kinda laughing about it.. Or better yet " fondly reminiscing " about their sexual sin in front of the world.
This kind of stuff used to irk me in my younger years, when brother's were sleeping around and the brothers who were doing their best to stay focused on Christ and remain celibate had to endure theircontinued set backs. When I saw that episode, I was like " Really???" I'm trying not to burst at the seams some mornings and remaining in a posture of prayers and fasting, while brothers like this are passively/aggressively sharing it on the net with smirks on their faces. 😏

I have not watched this whole video yet, but i have a quick comment before I finish:
If an unsaved l/unbeliever is having sex before marriage and fornicating with other people while they’re married, they’re condemned already because they’re not even saved. Because they don’t know Jesus. It’s not because of their personal sin that they are condemned to hell, it’s because of the sin of Adam they inherited that they are condemned already. so therefore they are condemned because they don’t know God. And that’s why they are condemned to hell.
But if I believer, who is saved by Grace through faith and sealed by the Holy Spirit till the day of redemption, is fornicating, having sex before marriage or if they cheat, they are not condemned to hell. They’re just sinning against their own flesh, and hurting other people in the process and will eventually reap the consequences of their actions on earth by loosing blessings or loosing a spouse and being a bad representative for Christ, But they will never go to hell, they will never lose salvation for the simple fact that that believer was saved by Grace through faith and is not condemned to hell because they know God/Jesus. They are sealed till the day of redemption. And have inherited eternal life in Christ.

Literally the fact that he has no self control is the very reason he even has this podcast. He cheated on his first wife and he still hasn’t resolved the issue! Him hearing GOD say to him to be faithful to HIM and he is intentionally not abiding is scary! If only people understood spiritually what they were doing to themselves that are in sexual sin they wouldn’t be so casual about it. Plus the Word sets a distinction with the sin of fornication. HE speaks about it being a sin against your own body as all other sins are done without the body. Have mercy on us GOD. 😢

Well said "All Things Theology." Hebrews 5:12-14
12.) For though by this time you ought to be teachers [because of the time you have had to learn these truths], you actually need someone to teach you again the elementary principles of God’s word [from the beginning], and you have come to be continually in need of milk, not solid food. 13.) For everyone who lives on milk is [doctrinally inexperienced and] unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a spiritual infant. 14.) But solid food is for the [spiritually] mature, whose senses are trained by practice to distinguish between what is morally good and what is evil.

.i pray he's single until that day and if that's death. Then so be it. no women needs this
Edit: in his testimony he said he cheated throughout his marriage. More than 2 or 3.

For someone who struggled with sexual sin (ME!!!!), the wrong person/s did not wait. BUT!!!! My husband did. And he did not because he loved me so much. But rather (his explanation summarized), he waited because he wanted to honour God. Did we feel to touch and messed around? HELL YEAH. The temptation was REAL!!! The heart and chemistry was doing the most, but the decision to stand before God took precedence over all that.

So again, yes sir, we put so much emphasis on sex. Not only virgins will be in hell, so will pastors who preach this nonsense.

Why not reach out to him DIRECTLY and see if you can offer some advice or guidance? I don't agree with the behavior either, but you are no better than him/them.

One of the problems with this discussion is that we keep throwing into it the word “practice”. Practice is a process of trial & error wherein you learn to do a thing. There comes a time where Christian’s need to stop practicing, & just start doing. Doing comes through making the conscious choice to obey God above all else. This was a decision I made for 8 1/2 yrs of my own life. I didn’t practice celibacy, I just did it. Did I stumble getting to that 8 1/2 yrs? Yes. But I didn’t take this flippant attitude and point at the sin in others like this panel does. I owned the responsibility for my own failures, which is the essential part of repentance. This panel takes the position that I see too man6 who profess to be Christian do. That is, because I’m human & God knows that, He’s going to be okay with my mess.
