I started my bricklaying course yesterday and during quarantine I’ve watched these vids and thought it was so easy I kinda got the hand of it but it harder than I thought
Great video stu!! Was wondering if you’d be able to do a video on drawings, help us young lads out that don’t usually get a chance to even look at them, instead just get told where/what to do 👍🏼
The face of the brick with the ridges on is the back of the brick that's intended to be unseen, the other faces are flat and smooth which is the side people will see.
Hey stu I’m a 13 year old boy and I what to be a bricklayer bcos I want to be like my dad a multi skilled tradesman and you really inspire me to want to be a bricklayer keep up the good work I love it
You could be a brick layer, a person that works on pipes, know how to use a tractor, or basically a construction it’s not that bad and you get payed some money for it
I have no idea how I got here, but after watching similar vids I’ve gotta say, your lines are so clean and tidy, usually there’s more mortar on the brick face and floor than the top🤣
Why do you flip the bricks twice? I understand that there is a front and a back to the brick, but the top and bottom of those bricks look the same to me what else are you looking for?
I wonder if you need to prove any longer that yes, you can lay bricks very well? 😜 Next week, Stu lays bricks 😮 I do enjoy the repair jobs, some good tips and tricks. I await the video where scientists at NASA carbon date your dads silicone jeans to find the earliest wiped material. “Sticks Like Shit 1904” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣✌🏻
Please be so kind, could you make video about who help you during bricklaying... Who are preparing workpace, bring mortar and bricks etc How make proper arrangement workplace...
Hello How much you pay in england for the gloves? I tried all kinds of gloves but maxiflex are by far the best in my opinion I work construction in Romania and in summer at 35-40°C my hands dont sweat and dont stink, it's impressive how good they are
Hi Stu, are contactable to quote a full House build? It could be good content for you and a good standard of work for us? The footings are being starting in October. Thank you
Just out of interest Stu did you have any mishaps on this scaffold with your ankle? You only have 2 boards from bricks and their is a nice cavity waiting to roll your ankle at any time. Lovely bricklaying fluidity, its such a shame the housebuilders in the UK are opting for the budget end of bricks to build homes out of (my opinion, perhaps not fact). Really enjoying these short sharp POV videos of you laying, keep them coming where possible, thumbs up.
Stu are bricklaying jobs temporary or permanent I’ve got a level 2 diploma and I’m trying to get into bricklaying for good but I’m worried if it’s always temporary.

Learn a trade. In KCMO union carpenters make 40.37 an hour with full benefits that dont get taken out of your check. So technically like 62 an hour. I make 80k a year building acoustic ceilings with 0 student loans lol

I started my bricklaying course yesterday and during quarantine I’ve watched these vids and thought it was so easy I kinda got the hand of it but it harder than I thought
It's how you handle to tool and set the mortar on the bricks or blocks I imagine. Interviewing with a company that does bricks and blocks tomorrow...
This is very therapeutic to watch. Good job mate 👍
Mad as a bricky to set brick all day and then come home and watch you setting brick haha just enjoyable to watch, you and dave flying 👍

Tidy bricks at a good tempo. Very nice Stu!
Beautiful...looks like laying the bricks with butter 🧈..top job
Is there any reason why you flip the brick from the bottom to the top or top to bottom?(im new and trying to learn)
The face of the brick with the ridges on is the back of the brick that's intended to be unseen, the other faces are flat and smooth which is the side people will see.
What will be the difference?
@@asik-b it's literally just appearance, from what I know anyway.
@@soapiest okay thanks

Xqc reacted to this in a live stream
Very nice work. Not sure why he keeps flipping the brick around before buttering the joint though.
Why were U checking the brick, if it's opposite or on the right side, aren't they both the same ?
Just the bollocks ain’t ya Stu cracking keep up the good work
Absolutely beautiful sir stu. 👍

Hi
What type of bricks u r using
Clay bricks or cc bricks
Hello. Tell me how to lay a brick in a circle? Thank you
Good view Stu nice job 👍
Ventilation air gap between the wool and the brick wall?
He's a smooth operator.......
Maybe this is a stupid question, but why do you occasionally rotate the brick’s exposed face before you butter? Can this type of brick be upside down?
At some points you can see they have grooves on one side so yeah i guess it would be upside down
That’s the best laying I’ve seen for years . Non of this pick &dip shit that all the superstars are doing these days
the best gloves!!
What type of brick did you use?
Hey Stu, are you spinning them to ensure the texture isn’t upside down?
We have bricks in Canada that have textures that have an up and down.
yes, there is a wrong way to them
Weathered face
Please be so kind, could you make video about who help you during bricklaying...
Who are preparing workpace, bring mortar and bricks etc
How make proper arrangement workplace...
Imagine
“This chocolate tastes funny”
Also, as someone who lays in Canada, we call that a Philadelphia style trowel pattern, is that what it’s called across the pond?
Yeh small world man uk.
Hello
How much you pay in england for the gloves?
I tried all kinds of gloves but maxiflex are by far the best in my opinion
I work construction in Romania and in summer at 35-40°C my hands dont sweat and dont stink, it's impressive how good they are
dream job
Hi Stu, are contactable to quote a full
House build? It could be good content for you and a good standard of work for us? The footings are being starting in October. Thank you
Hello. And where to buy a trowel like yours?
lovely to see those perps lined up Stu... shocking how bad most new builds are now though
Just out of interest Stu did you have any mishaps on this scaffold with your ankle?

Nice work mate, why do you keep spinning the bricks??
I’m only a learner. 🧱
Many textures on bricks have an up and down to them, I think he’s most likely looking at them and then spinning if need be.
It’s to do with the feathering on the bricks

Quality I don’t know if u know but I learned a lot from you this past month and funnily enough I go to the college u attended
What you use for muck boards?
Old polycarbonate roof sheets
Ah sound👍
Why did i feel so compelled to click on this?
Do you do any stonework?
why is the mortar 'brownish'?
Quality picture Stu 👍
Cheers mate
Bravo,meserie
I'm after a wirecut exactly like this. Would be very grateful if anybody could tell me the brick brand and name 👍🏻
I still find it hard to get a decent amount of cement
How did they calculate the price, is it a meter or an hour?
how much bricklayers make؟
Why not use Dow styrofoam in the cavity for more R value? I know it costs more but the higher R value will require less energy to run the home.
How long will a trowel last you??
Nice job
Your not hanging about there Stu !
Admit it guys... we all searched for this
COD bricklaying feels 😁✌️
I know love ❤️
Very good!
Where do you live ..I'd like to learn how to put brick

Stu are bricklaying jobs temporary or permanent I’ve got a level 2 diploma and I’m trying to get into bricklaying for good but I’m worried if it’s always temporary.
