People like you two need to realize Liverpool can’t force Salah to leave. He’s under contract through next season and can run out his contract if he wants to. He is under zero obligation to leave the club and has every right to stay. Not to mention far too many people are falsely assuming Salah actually even wants to play in Saudi Arabia at a much lower level.
The fan base need to rest, Mo still the main man in the front 3.

It's the fact mo is the only clinical forward we have Nunez has had 110 shots and only 10 goals thats pathetic you can't slap excuses on that. If mane and Salah had that many chances we'd of been champions 2019 and 2022

People need to realize Salah is under no obligation to leave and Liverpool can’t force him to go. He has a contract signed through next season. That’s the reality. And far too many people are falsely assuming Salah actually wants to play in Saudi Arabia at a much lower level. People need to wake up and realize he’s very likely staying.

@@deanboucher2067 Per The Athletic, which tends to be very valid, both the club and him want him to stay at Liverpool next season. Far too many reactionary types don’t understand contracts. United fans have wanted many players to leave for years but the players refuse to leave because they are on huge wages. Anthony Martial, Phil Jones, Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, etc have/have been running down their contracts for years even though the club wanted to move on from them. Salah is 100% entitled to stay next season, per his contract that both parties agreed to. Fans can moan all they want but a contract is a contract.
I think we'll offer him a reduced contract. He's not worth 350k per week anymore but he is still a very good player. If he signed on at greatly reduced wages, I'd be happy to keep him. If he wants to play out the end of his career at Liverpool, we give him that option.
I still feel Mo Salah. Great genetics. Great player one of the best ever in the club he can easily play here for years yet and do really well. I hope he signed a new contract 100% faith in him.

Mo Salah has gave everything to this club One of the greatest ever. Still got 17 Premier League goals this year. Every player go through bad form every so often. I believe will see the best of him next season again if he stays.

If it means that Hughes/Edwards will have the cash to recruit suitable players for Slot's tactics, I say sell Mo, LFC legend though undoubtedly he is, rather than let him go for free next year. He's getting on. His skills and physique will only degrade as more time elapses. Makes sense to me.

I'd keep him. He's scored 17 goals so far this season still our most clinical attacker. What's the point of selling him for money then using that money to buy another Luis Diaz. Not saying Diaz is bad but I'd rather have a winger who can finish and create many assists. There's a reason why he's worth so much because there's not many around like Mo Salah.

I feel his spat with Klopp is why he will run out the contract at the club. I've felt for years they don't get on great and the new manager will be good for him. I feel Salah loves the club.

I’d keep Salah, he’s been massive for us and should retire with us. However, knowing how stingy FSG are with money, we need to sell him in order to cash in and bring someone quality in. Essentially what we should be doing is what Real Madrid are doing with Kroos and Modric, keeping those quality players but continue to renew and bring in exciting players as well.
I think he’s gonna stay for at least one more season. If he doesn’t do well with Arne I can see him leave but if he does well he will stay for more seasons. Honestly idk if I want him at the club anymore but a legend nevertheless
IN MY OPINION LIVERPOOL DECLINES WHEN SALAH RETURNED FROM HIS NATIONAL TEAM, THE STRANGE CHANGES OF PLAYERS STARTED THAT WERE A GOOD MATCH FOR HIM TO JOIN, DARWIN WAS VERY CONFIDENT! AND OUT OF NOWHERE UNDER THEIR ENTHUSIASM, AND EACH TIME THEY PLAYED FEWER MINUTES, AND THE TEAM NO LONGER SEEMED SO UNITED! IT IS OBVIOUS THAT IT IS AN INTERNAL CONFLICT OF EGOS, AND ITCHING SINCE THE PLAYER RETURNED.

We certainly seem to have had a problem recently failing to score from open play.
I mean theres pros and cons if he does and doesnt go. If he goes then we could get A LOT of money for him that can be spent on bringing in new players. On the other hand it could be beneficial keeping him as he is a senior member of the club, still one of our best goal scorers and could still get back on his feet going forward. On top of that he clearly still sells a lot of shirts and helps the clubs make money.

1 more year with a slowing salah where we win no major trophies or a 70-100 million transfer to fund new forwards? Personally i think the club has been slowly rotting in complacency, since the 19-20 season where we signed Minamino and Adrian to push for the title, and hopefully Edwards can get us back in the right direction. Salah is 31, heading into 32 and still worth a decent amount of money if sold, so, cash in to get some profit back for the investment in some young blood that will be at the club for a further 5-Years. New manager coming in, and there is a need for some players - OUT - Jones - Elliott - Gomez - Jota - Tsimikas - Endo - None of whom are good enough. A striker is needed, Nunez should be pushed to the left, Diaz to the right...
Personally, I don't know any long-term Liverpool Fc fan that wants Mo to go... Ye, a bit of dip in form after the injury, but he still pulls some magic things out of the hat here n there.
I think he's got more records to break with LFC, and wants to aswel.
Salah still wants to play at the highest level. Majority ofLiverpool fans want him sold. A fresh start at a new EPL club with a new set of fans is the way to go. Anyway, surely many clubs would want a player of his talents.
I think he will leave and it is the right time, upfront needs an overhaul, Nunez hasn't worked out, Jota is made of glass so can't be relied on, Diaz could still do brilliantly well but only if we are able to at least offload Nunez and Jota, there is no consistency or chemistry upfront, keeping salah would only work if we are able to bring in 2 world class forwards, like when we had Origi, Bobby, Mane, Salah

For me they sold Mane a season too soon and if they keep Salah it will be a season too long ... His best before date has passed but still a serious financial value, if 100m + gets offered take the money and reinvest in the squad whether it be on new contracts and or new players and give the new manger every chance to succeed

I think Liverpool is not a small club to worry that much about finances. I think the owners themselfs does not worry about the money now as much as we do. We are giving the owners a reason one a plate of gold for no reason not to invest in new quality players unless they sell Salah. I would say let him stay for another 2-3 years and bring more quality players to strengthen the squad to compete in all competitions. Why us as fans need to worry about finances? The club need to spend like a big club similar to City, Chelsea and United, without having to lose class players that they have proven their quality and helped the club throughout the years and continue helping, if Liverpool wants to really compete.
We need a really strong rebuild this summer, and for me Salah and Van Dyke need to be moved on. If you ask yourself how many of the Liverpool Team would make the Real Madrid starting 11 there is only 1 definite in Allison and maybe Trent. Major changes are required to compete with the top European Clubs

I've said various times when Anfield agenda and some fans you were pilutting the narrative "sell Mo now " and "cash in on him" I know you want the best for your team but it also hurts the player and not any player a legend of the club and Someone who contributed heavily in the club success let's not forget those 7 years are the best in Liverpool 30 or 35 years. Why it is bad to say and sound ungrateful because no one said what about the player decision what does he want. It's questioning his commitment to Liverpool you threw him away the moment he had a dip in form after a double injury. Mo wants to stay and even if Liverpool have no intention to extend him he has the right to run down his contract and not get them any money from his back you can't force a player if his decision is to play in Saudi or elsewhere he will for sure extend to let liverpool have some money but forcing him and saying this narrative will make him go elsewhere on a free with having more money and signing bonus I didn't see this treatment with other players it's harsh and some fans are just hating him because of his background and won't admit it so they won't be labeled racists so they suger coat it. I would say it depends on whether Slot wants him. Personally I wouldn't give him a new contract. He hasn't merited his current contract for me.
Slot is going to be a coach,not a manager..So he will get no say on who the club signs or sells..For me not a great situation for Slot..

To me, selling SALAH isn't a good decision.
We do not want Salah, he is an spent force, get the money NOW , and bring in two new strikers, or we have no chance with these so called strikers we currently have. @@s7777777d He’s already on 350,000 per week, makes nearly 20 million per season just with his contract alone, and already makes ten of millions of dollars with endorsements each season. If he actually wants the Saudi move, it will still be there in 2-3 years. Salah still wants to play at the top level. He very likely already is worth hundreds of millions. Money isn’t the issue for him.

We've literally been linked to Bowen for years who plays the exact same position, and has ALREADY scored 20 goals in a season, this season for a david moyes team...
