They are allowed to make all of these upgrades. Redbull puts a check valve in a tee and a the FIM makes a rule against it. I don't understand why they would do that?

Aerodynamics is different from mechanical. And we are not even sure if Red Bull did this. It's just still speculation, so don't count it in or out.
What Red Bull really needs is a stable aerodynamic platform. That's what the RB20 is lacking. From what I have seen personally, only McLaren have that sort of a car.
