Don't act like Jamie was the perfect boyfriend. He cheated on Sonia with Zoe. Also, Martin didn't run over Jamie on purpose. It was an accident. Martin and Sonia didn't rush into a relationship/marriage, it blossoms over a long time and only happens once Sonia is sure of her feelings. She takes a long time to move on after Jamie's death.

She didn't have a regular period, and people are really good at denying that they are indeed pregnant.
In regular periods and some ladies don't have a bump .. they carry the babies into the back area.. so they don't know there pregnant.. happens a lot more than you realise.. got nothing to do with being in denial

Some people still have periods. Some people don’t have them every month. I only had one period in a whole year before I had my son.

How could she not know she was pregnant
It's not very common but some expectant mothers get some bleeding when they're pregnant which maybe mistaken for periods by those with an irregular cycle (which isn't unusual in teenagers). Also how noticeable the bump is can vary due to factors such as the mother's body shape and/or the position the baby is carried in the uterus (e.g. if the baby is carried towards the mother's back the bump will usually be smaller).

It happened to my sister, she didn't know until she went into labour. When we took her to the hospital they diagnosed her with appendicitis and took her to get ready for surgery. A doctor then examined her and he could feel my nephew. It does happen.
