Seoul is my favorite city in the world! Theres so much Tokyo/Japan street content but not enough of South Korea so thank you for this! Glad you enjoyed it!
Because Korea is sensitive about portrait rights.Koreans have negative thoughts about candid shots. As a Korean, it's a pity that it's hard to take a picture like that.
I really enjoyed this video. I visited Seoul several years ago, before I got into photography, and nothing since then has brought me back to the city as viscerally as your video. Nice photos, pace, and really nice b-roll.
Love this video and you have a new subscriber. Loved the b-roll cinematic footage along with your photos. I was wondering what camera and lens you used for your video? If you love sci-fi architecture, also try Digital Media City, in Seoul, it looks like your transported into a sci fi starbase. Lots of interesting furistic buildings. But wonderful video.
Beautiful video man. Going to Korea around the same time as this video (Jan-Feb?) next year and pumped to get some cool shots. Went to Japan this year at the same time and loved it. People knock these countries off during the Winter for being too cold but I don't know, it adds a different tone to the experience and the photos (+less tourists).
Appreciate it. I agree. It’s fun to shoot when you can get a different perspective, but I’ll say even though I can handle the cold (being from Michigan), I still needed a lot of breaks to get through these days of shooting.

Seoul is great and I totally agree that it’s strange that so little street photography content about it exists. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Going there this weekend for the first time and look forward taking pictures there! Thank you for this amazing video!

Im planning to go there in early winter with my camera and coincidentally see this video of yours and it’s very inspirational.
Hope this video gave you some ideas of where to shoot. I’d suggest planning a route with tons of coffee breaks in mind, because it was so cold 🥶
big thanks!@@developingtank
Very useful to prepare a trip
Glad it could help

It was near or below freezing every day.
I’m from Detroit originally, so I know that always cold vibe. 😫 @janvirtanen9110
Beautiful vid! do you mind sharing what gear you used to record the video?
Thank you! Video is all shot on R5. Photos are a mix of GRIII, X100V, and R5.

Love this! Are all your videos from the Gopro? Or you used other gears?

What month did you go?
Early January
DDP at night is amazing…nothing from Namsan tower? Opportunity lost IMO
I guess I didn’t come across it. Maybe next time.
hey man, did you went on november/ December?
This was from mid-December through January.
@@developingtank Damn I'm planning a trip like this, hong kong, korea & japan for those dates, it will be freezing.
No doubt. I had to take constant breaks due to freezing temps in Seoul when I was there. Good luck!
really great work you did and quality photos but the place looks depressing to me
