They are in amazing condition. Don Ricardo had 3 of them. One he raced at Bonneville. He was a very famous musician. He played until 93. Once a year he allowed us to go to his house and see at the time the best Mercedes Collection there was. He even had a running original Mercedes. I have seen it in a collection in Saudi Arabia I think since.
This "FIND" was 35 to 40 years ago you realise that ? This youtuber guy has made a video for clicks, nothing else. The ars have all been restored and sold decades ago and are all over the world in rich people's garages. Why don't You make a similar video of Don Rivardo if you have some old photos. (see 10:38 - That's "Hardy") LOL. Make money off UA-cam like this guy does,
The story is truly impressive !!! It is also evident how much effort and creativity went into the production. Thank you so much for this great work, and I'd love to see more videos shared :))) 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Reason the shop is down on Swiss border is TUV many parts are restricted as NON factory & illegal but you can ship to lications in AUSTRIA OR SWITZERLAND & pick up your parts. Germany regulated out ALL non factory part's since VW BMW MERCEDES etc want total control & for customers to buy THEIR parts. Oh & RENT in Munich is SKY HIGH for any shop it kills your profit margin.
Beauty car but the pantwork is terrible for that level of car...there sanding scratches all over the dash by the ignition cylinder plus tons or orange peel on the fenders but none on the hood.
So taking on an Ayran identity/look - created by Hitler's Germany - is a sign of being a good german engineer/mechanic for this youtuber !!! ... Looks like it's something HE has been trying to pin on himself with fair hair and blue eyes. How far will these youtubers go to make money ? Fascinating stuff. I'll be sure to call up Old Money Cars and pay them a handsome chumk of my hard earned money to meet me at the airport and pamper me like a baby until they give me the keys to my car. LOL. Unfortunately the youtuber doesn't say WHEN these ars were "found". 10:38 - That's a photograph of "Hardy" when he was presented with these cars - 35/40 years ago ................ Again: Clickbait UA-camr stuff.
Beyond gorgeous…. I am almost crying out of joy. The grandeur of this video and find of the cars is an emotional experience.
Simply a great video and an even better story!

There used to be a couple of these parked outside a house on dune rd Long Island New York during the 90s 😊
Is this not the equivalent of finding King Tut’s tomb?

Of course. Dad was a hippie and not an engineer but that is ok. Not everyone is born to create and invent.
