- So last time doing uber eats on a motorcycle you saw me learning the uber eats app and figuring it all out. Today we're a week into it and trying to uber eats on the weekend which I find out is where it's all kinds of worth it !

the oil eating thing is a suzuki problem , i have saved 4 or 5 after oil starvation and bad crank bearings caused of it , gsx , a gs 500 , gsxr and 2 gsxf just look at the oil every day aand have some with you

I used to do doordash and I loved it in the beginning and then I started getting anxiety about customers scamming me, finding houses, getting the wrong orders, not getting tips, etc. I deliver auto parts now and its much more chill, I get a stable check, full benefits and i don't need to use my own vehicle or pay for my own gas.

I’ve delivered to sidewalk corners near homeless shelters, campgrounds, semi trucks on the side of the road and many other unusual places. I ran for Doordash for over three years. I quit because people quit tipping and scammed a lot.

He has a load of videos with hundreds of thousands of views, then the algorithm fell off the content and it was really only his dedicated following that kept up over the years. He has a big discord community and has just stayed true to his stuff.

I live in an area where all the houses are a million dollars minimum so the tips can be so great! Don’t be afraid to cancel orders on waits or things you can’t accept.
It's sad the cost of living in California is so bad that even our boy BxD needs a part time job now.

In Cali you have prop 22 to fall back on so rushing from the job to the delivery location is not smart not to mention Uber will deactivate you if they see you breaking speed limits or pretty much anything else they deem unsafe! They will also deactivate you for multi apping so if you are planning to do that you have to use multiple phones! You should look into forming a LLC if you are planning on doing this for anything more than few videos you are leaving a lot of tax benefits on the table plus being able to write off a lot more expenses! You should be running full synthetic or diesel oil in a air cooled engine!

I used to do this during covid on a cb300f and on a cb500x, bikes paid themselves off with deliveries. I recommend getting an insulated box on the back and some cup holders inside that'll make it so much easier

I watch Wilcer for food delivery on a 125cc scooter. He does it in DTLA. He is really good and has lots of tips and even sells gear like bags that you can configure and carry drinks.
That's a nice haul for doing some deliveries. Happy for you you got some nice money out it and had fun doing so.
Delivering for Uber Eats gets crapped on a lot, but I think it can be great for what it is. Work when you want to, don't when you don't. No boss. Pick your own hours, pick your area. A friend has been doing it for about a year now, 8-10 hours a week; just enough effort to cover his car payment. Nice to not have to stress about only barely making enough on his regular job to cover that car payment every month.
Doing deliveries on a fuel sipper like the DR is the way to go if you're gonna do it
I tip $20-$50 per meal cash, my pay is based on traffic and how much time they're spending on just my order. If I order something it's because I no longer want to deal with anything else for the day.

Have you seen the hidden bridge goin up the 330 on west side? Schenck creek is where that swing is. You won't believe how awesome it is! There is, I think a trout pond. Horse stables, another swing over the canyon, also 2 houses, and other buildings!❤❤
Honestly I never knew that Uber Eats had an option to not tip. I always add a 3-to-5-dollar tip when I ordered. kinda explains why I always got good service.

15:12 I used to have a Buell Blast (500cc single cylinder) that would burn oil like that. It had about 20k miles on it but didn’t leak any oil. I noticed especially when I would do anything above about 55 mph for extended periods, it would really start using oil. I don’t know if it’s just the way singles are at higher speeds or if it gets worse on those old, tired engines. The user manual specified checking the oil at every fill up (which works out to about every 100 miles) so it seemed like they knew about the oil consumption by design.

In my experience.. where I live in MI.. The rich neighborhoods dont tip any better. Also, South of 8 mile (detroit) the people all feel owed and entitled and never leave tips. Doordash is okay. they are really around the same tbh.. you talked about multi apping in your video and thats the best way to go about it... back in the beginning of covid some folks were making 20 grand a month... it was insane.

If you have Instacart available, would be worth throwing into the delivery rotation! I just picked up delivering in my free time, doing a few orders for them and decided to start taking my motorcycle for deliveries periodically. There's plenty of deliveries that I can still carry with my (40L?) saddle bags, and it's been plenty of fun. Makes taking the farther orders not *as* bad lol

Customers can leave drivers bad reviews, drivers should be able to leave customer reviews for other drivers. So drivers know they don't tip and they don't waste their time. This way when they don't get anyone to do their delivery maybe they'll start tipping drivers lol....

man, when i did my MSF course they put me on one of these little DR 200s. such a fun little bike, i would buy one if i could find one!
Here in the Netherlands you have to have a 'special insurance' to be able to deliver. You must also register with the Chamber of Commerce as an independent entrepreneur. So it's not fun to do 'on the side' here... Too much paperwork and checks.

11:35 - I think that guy did that on purpose, to score himself a free meal. He'd go out there to retrieve the food and then he'd complain to Uber that his order was delivered to the wrong place and get a refund.
You’ll get a prop 22 incentive for waiting though. California has a law that makes the Uber eats and door dash incentivize you to keep you at 20 per hour.

Some klr’s have the same problem with burning oil. A lot of guys go up a tooth in the front sprocket to lower rpms and burn less oil
Some advice, if you are trying to make more money... Stop accepting every order that comes in. Set yourself a minimum. Like making at least $2 per delivery mile or something like that. But if you are just out to have fun and explore, then keep doing your thing. If you set a minimum payout for orders, then you'll start making some money. Take advantage of uber not penalizing you for rejecting orders. Doordash penalizes drivers for rejecting orders, and trust me, we get those cheapass $3 order offers at least 5 times a 4 hour shift.
Don't ever accept an order from Walmart. I had a 1 item order that was a months worth of groceries I had to wait an hour for. Yes it was Ubereats.
How lazy does one have to be though? Because Walmart does pick up. Like that person could’ve ordered every single thing then drove their car to a special location at Walmart and then someone would’ve loaded all those groceries right in their trunk

you're honestly probably better off sticking with the smaller engined bikes for this stuff. better fuel economy for sure. in the uk, the fast food gig economy is dominated by mopeds. typically, little 125's with boxes on their racks. and they throw those things around the roads like it's nothing. whip em round corners, jump onto foot paths for shortcuts. it's mad. ride it like you stole it for sure.
I was actually doing the same thing. Uber eats delivery just to ride and not have to pay for gas.
I did DD and UE for a solid year. Then I started my own delivery business. I only do short trips. I'll still take the odd DD or UE delivery... but mostly, I'm just driving my own business these days.
$5 flat rate delivery. From nearby restaurants to apartments a mile away. Why pay more? My UE rating is 100; my DD rating is 5.0. A customer can thru DD and pay twice as much as I charge... and get the service they get. Or, they can order my service for half the price and get twice the service.
I'm gonna be their DD and UE driver most of the time anyways. So, why not just hire me directly for half the price?
It's stupid simple, this business.

When you rebuilt that engine, did you replace the piston rings? If so, did you make sure to put them onto the piston right side up? I put mine on upsidedown one time and was burning tons of oil 🥴

Ive done ubereats and DoorDash. I prefer the DOUBLE dS but with u doing it on ur bike, theres a potential of getting grocery orders and sometimes people order like laundry baskets! It is fun but definitely gonna have to choose wisely
I did postmates and uber eats back in the day and if I had to wait over 25 minutes I just ate their food or gave it to a homeless person. Time is money and I already know I'm not driving to the other side of town to go and get my 5 dollars after having to waste that much time. I'm just moving to the next order. But also all those apps have probably changed sense then so i'm sure they have ways on not letting people like me work for them lol.

I got one of those big ass insulated cubes the asian scooter delivery guys use and was going to try doing uber eats on my bike. Need to make some sort of rear seat rack to hold it nobody sells a good one for the 2008 cbr1000rr.

@bakerXderek try using Rotella t6 or any Rotella oil it is for diesel motors but its a very old mechanic trick using this in motorcycles this oil does wonders I have seen it return unhappy unhealthy motors back to a happy strong state I run T6 in my grom in Oklahoma gets pretty hot here also many days of over 120 degrees outside and my bike never has issues on this oil it is a synthetic blend and is a very high zinc oil which is great for the motors just as long as you dont have cats on your bikes lol it eats right through cats...
Bro Uber gives big insulated backpacks to the motorcyclist in Mexico for the deliveries you should look into that for more space and keeping the food hot

I use to live in Rialto , I moved back to San Bernardino about 4 years ago. Rialto is waaaaaaay better! They also just opened a bunch of new restaurants and shopping centers on Riverside Ave and San Bernardino ave.
From what I learned from my area the supper expensive places they to cheap. And what I do if I have to wait more the 10-15min. Post mates is bought out by Uber there one company. Remember the days going out Sundays and make like 150. Bucks and doing less than 100bucks. And when everyone was still under Covid it was busy. For me but has slowed down a lot even for dd and gh. Also they tip bate they give a tip and then reduce it
If you drive 80 miles but inly 40 is on delivery how do you claim the whole 80 miles off taxes. Also how do you deduct vehicle wear snd tear expenses and decreased value
You can attach those bicycle trailers to your motor cycles. It actually works really well.
I delivered pizza for 3 years, only time it was busy on weekdays was, lunch hours and after work on fridays and thurdsdays.

DoorDash is really dependent on the location and the pickup location. A lot of people will try and remember the places that they waited a long time and won’t take the orders for that place.

Hey bro don’t take the low tip orders, decline them. They’re not worth it even if you’re on a motorcycle with great gas mileage. Also you have a higher chance of getting scammed like someone saying their food didn’t arrive because the low tippers/no tippers usually don’t care about you, and they rather say their food didn’t arrive and throw you under the bus to get their money back.

every zone is different. busy times, etc. i would advise not accepting every single order, unless thats just your jam. but the shitty ones will take you farther away and give you less doll hairs. set a minimum for yourself. it could be $5, or $7, or maybe $2/mile, whatever floats your boat. also camping out near more expensive restaurants helps too. like how much can someone possibly spend at mcdonalds? a food truck that sells personal pizzas for $15 a pop will usually net you a bigger tip than a fast food order just sayin

Postmares is owned by uber. You will see it in the app sometimes you will go pick up a postmates order. But i will say doordash you will make more . Also in my experience the rich areas tip less. I delivered to beverly hills and got .50 cents tip and i delivered 4 big ass pizzas and waited 30 minutes.
