ahhhh im so glad you looked up a live performance of Rising. Because its such a good song for them to showcase just what vocal powerhouses they ALL are (siyeon is just THAT singer). and I think you got the idea that this group REALLY shines live. so I don't think you're in the minority on liking the live version more!
Rising was my favorite song on Villains during my first listen. My favorite parts of this song are Siyeon and Handong's lead into the chorus and then the ending. Next up is Shatter! There's a special clip and a live showcase if you cant find a good live concert version.
@@TEEJ-9 Villains as a whole was very experimental and it took a bunch of listens for me to wrap my head around some of the songs. Rising is the most "traditional" sounding DC song on the album so it was the easiest to digest on a first listen. I ended up loving all the songs on the EP but I was unsure to start with. I think I'd probably rank it in 3rd place now. With that said my favorite moment in all 4 songs is in the song id put in fourth place. No spoilers so I'll mention it when you get to it.
Siyeon is an incredible singer in a lot of ways and i wish someone knowledgeable enough would get into them enough to really highlight it. I think her mastery of vocal tone is just crazy to me. The way she can do both the most angelic high notes in some of their ballads... And the dark tone she has been putting into her lows for the past year or so... Idk i used to watch a lot of vocal coach content on youtube and i just KNOW there is so much to talk about with siyeon
I cam imagine a vocal coach already covers some Dreamcatcher content. Most def more to dive into w/her vocals. If I find one I'll for sure comment back here 🔥
Great reaction! And yeah, it's a perfect work out song🔥 Especially when the ending coinsides with your last reps of anything that has the "rising" motion lol (Although, if you need to train to failure it may screw the results, since you can go past your usual numbers 💪)
I believe lower tones use more air since the throat is more open, but it also makes their voice resonate more + it sounds cooler, probably also allows for better stability
You are not in the minority here, Dreamcatcher songs sound better live, the energy they give just hits different. Not to mention when you are actually there in the concert. About the song itself I really liked it from first listen, it feels like we start in a dark place and fight our way up to the top. Instrumental goes hard, rap goes hard, vocals go hard, not much left to ask for. And yes, I actually play this song when I'm running (it gives me +10 speed)😂😂😂
Haha each song is like a n extra perk for your daily life. I need more concerts in my life, honestly, love them. Ove only gone to Dayseeker a couple months ago.
TEEJ, Idk if you'll see this but will you please react to HANGSANG by J-hope? It's a must! And maybe if you have time, D-DAY the song by Agust D is amazing too! I also really like Rising by Dreamcatcher, it's a good song and i'm glad you reacted to it. 🔥

The stages showcase their personalities while performing 🎭 and I lowkey always look for that

I wonder what drives her to such a level

KCON PD was like heck w/ the backing track vocals, we've got DC here... this is why we go to DC concerts

😮 niceee! I suppose timing is important for the process 😅
The reactors you spotted are "Differently Alike", some of the biggest Dreamcatcher fans.
Yupp, that's the Ch name😅
I think it's Siyeon's vibrato giving you that impression of opera? hahahsjs she is insanely good live! All the girls do an amazing job 👏💫
Yea, thats prob what it was 😅 I said opera b/c it's what popped up.
I think their notes tend to sound deeper live because they have to really open their chests to get enough air to dance and sing.
I believe lower tones use more air since the throat is more open, but it also makes their voice resonate more + it sounds cooler, probably also allows for better stability
Makes sense... Yea, since factoring in all the others

Camera man is clearly Sua biased :P I get what are you trying to say about Jiu's Smile (ult bias there). She can bright whatever bad day i have.
DC is 10/10 usually, but live it goes up to eleven at least.

Most Jhope songs will be for the Jhope dive, but Agust D we can def do. Yea, the massg along w/the extras give it a nice pump
@@TEEJ-9 Thank you! I hope you like it and I agree
