    In this video we answer a viewer's question about what to pick between the Babyzen Yoyo 2, the Uppababy Minu V2, the Silver Cross Jet3 and the Nuna TRVL, for daily use in a big city and for travel. We also suggest a couple of other models that we feel would also be worth considering for this sort of lifestyle and environment.

    The minu og has been a beast for me. Have taken it to multiple states and countries. Wheels full of sand. Lots of beachside naps. Had no problem fitting onboard overhead

    I had a difficult time closing the Yoyo 2. We ended up getting the Nuna TRVL and loved how sturdy, lightweight, and convenient it is! Also there’s no adapters required since it’s compatible with the Pipa Lite RX.

    So happy with my yoyo2 purchase, perfect for London life. What’s important is the weight and size of the stroller - most of the time I don’t have time to fold down the stroller so I just pick up the whole thing and go up stairs.

    • @leza4453
      @leza4453 Рік тому +3

      True, the folding is also only possible if you have nothing in the basket and on the handle, so most of the time its easier to just grab it and carry it down/up unfolded

    This is awesome! More "use case" videos would be great! I'd love to see one for suburban life! We're in and out of the car all the time, so a quick and easy fold AND unfold is key. It doesn't need to be ultra compact, but also don't want it taking too much trunk space. A spacious undercarriage is also really important, as well as easy access (our current stroller has decent space but there's a bar in the back that blocks access to it!) My toddler (2.5 yrs) still takes naps in the stroller so an adjustable footrest is a must (and not too short!) Also important for the upright position to not be too reclined, she hates that! Last but not least, definitely also would like to have sturdy construction and wheels that can handle moderate off-roading.
    Thank you so much for your detailed and comprehensive videos!!

    Thank you for the reviews! Currently looking for a travel stroller with several characteristics: fully reclined seat, sturdy and one-hand fold. Been studying your videos, I guess Baby Jogger city 2 is the most suitable for me.

    Babyzen yoyou 2 . Love it ,didnt know i will enjoy small size as i do. Belive it or not it comes handy in car as well. We have 3 kids and the fact that yoyo can be folded and put underneath baby carseat and doesn't take up boot space is added bonus. I do not see any problems using it in the city i live as daily , but then again i am not a parent who goes out to stroll 3x a day 👍

    I think the comparison I’d like to see is strollers for city living for people without a car (city dwellers often don’t need one). So, strollers for every day use that are sturdy enough to handle walks through the park or to the local metro station across bumpy sidewalks but that can also fit in a Prius (ie. the occasional Uber) and aren’t too bulky to take on public transport.

    • @rebs20890
      @rebs20890 Рік тому +1

      We chose the Joolz Hub Plus for these reasons and so far it’s worked out great on public transport, narrow store aisles, parks, cobblestones, and fitting groceries on grocery runs. Not sure if it fits in a Prius though.

      Right on :) We did a video a while back on smaller urban models, that you can find here: ua-cam.com/video/z16Gf7LONeE/v-deo.html . We live in a city without a car as well, and I've always found smaller-sized models to be nice, but seriously lacking in storage capacity for grocery shopping (and bad in the winter), which is why it's sort of a toss-up between going for these smaller models or something larger like the Vista or Demi Grow. :)

    Have you seen the Cossato Woosh 3?
    As with many others looking for a pram to travel with and go to places in Europe like Amsterdam for the Christmas Market
    I do fear I might need a slighty bigger/studier pram for those trips

    Interesting. I’ve been a childcarer for 20 years so I’ve used a lot buggies/strollers and discuss them with other nannies/parents and read/watch reviews because I’m interested in learning about baby equipment. I and others think the Yoyo feels flimsy and feel I had to use extra effort to make sure it didn’t trip while pushing (even with a light baby, while always using both hands), which is the only model I experienced this with. Among the compact models I and others prefer Mountain Buggy Nano. It’s sturdy enough for 2/3 YO to climb into it and is easy to push, even one handed. I’m not sure if it’s cabin friendly, but I carried it often through London Underground stations using the long enough shoulder strap because many don’t have lifts/elevators. The fold is similar to Yoyo so my only concern is having to use both hands, so I also bring a carrier if doing adventurous solo travel with a tiny one.

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  Рік тому +2

      Yes. The Tour is the sturdiest budget ultracompact on the market in my opinion - stronger than both the TRVL and the Jet, but weaker than the Butterfly or Minu. :)

    I recently came across Joie Pact and Joie Fluri. Do you have any advice on other ultra-lightweight, city life, travel friendly strollers to suggest? I'm a single parent and am quite thin myself. I don't think I can comfortably carry a stroller over 5kg. Help!

    Can you recommend a ultralight stroller that will be primarily used for travel with an under six month baby? Our baby will be a bit over four months on our first big trip. I want a stroller that will fit in most overhead compartments, handle well on cobblestones etc and work for a baby under six months. I have been looking at the yoyo with the newborn pack, but if our baby has good trunk strength at the 4-5 month mark I would like an option that also allows him to sit up a bit.

      @@sandamoldovan4165 we trialed a few, but landed on the Ergo Metro+. I love this stroller. It lays flat and becomes a mini bassinet. We have taken it on seven flights with six different airlines and it has fit in the over head without issue. I use it for running errands instead of my uppa baby. The fold/open take a little bit of practice, but that’s my only negative.
