    Thanks a lot! now i hope i finally get it.
    but why is there in the "0" part of the function: H(t-2) + H(t-3) ? shouldnt there be a mius like in the other function parts?

    • @Mike-bt3ki
      @Mike-bt3ki 5 років тому +6

      Yes he is meant to write H(t-2) - H(t-3), but it doesn't matter because if it's right or wrong because it's multiplied by 0 and is ignored in the end.

    Am I mistaken or should that be (-) instead of (+) at 4:55?

      was thinking the same. i think it should be. but what happens if its a plus sign?

    For the part (4-2t)[H(t-1) - H(t-2)], how would you continue if we were to take the inverse Laplace transform of that?

    Thank you for the video. As a point of constructive criticism, constantly saying how straightforward this is, "that's all there is to it", "not too bad", and "no big deal" doesn't make this any easier to learn, it actually makes me feel pretty stupid.

    so that means the equal sign does not effect the result? no matter is smaller and equal or just smaller, they all have the same function?

  • @Buzmoo

    For line 2. How exactly do you know that the line intercept the Y axis at y=4?
    I grasp the idea, but whats the mathematical ''proof''?

    • @ryanrussell1051
      @ryanrussell1051 6 років тому

      slope equals rise over run. If we found that the slope of the line is -2 (or -2/1), you can visualize that as when time moves forward to the right (run) , the rise changes by -2, to each 1 step we move in the t direction. If we wanted to figure out what was behind us, we could simply just change the signs on the -2 and the 1. So now, for every step we go backwards in run (now -1), we must rise by positive 2. Additionally, you can always revert back to the equation of a line formula.

    Can anyone explain how he had taken y=-2t+4 for the second line please as soon as possible I have an exam

    • @Azkill
      @Azkill 5 років тому +1

      Similarly to y=mx+c; +4 is the y intercept (+c) and the -2t is the graph (mx).

      It's too late , still
      First find slope through the formual m=Y2-Y1/X2-X1
      Then go for y-y1=m(x-x1) plug this value (2,0)
