She is so beautiful. I have said i have two they are rescues and pluckers so much loved but not so pretty. Harley is really havinga ball i know that behavior well. I love the tapping of her toes. She is such a very special birdy. Love watching.

That beak sliding on the floor & then rapid tapping is so hilarious! Jeepers! :-) She is always in such fine feather. She has so many moves - the running is cute, at one point she slides her feet along the floor - cute; she clearly is loving playing with you and being the center of your attention - cute; the innocence of her taking a mundane object like that and entertaining herself - cute. ALL SO CUTE !
I’ve seen a number of Toos run their beaks along the floor like she’s doing in this video. What does that mean in Cockatoo “language”? Is she happy, or some derivative of happy? Do you know what it means if they’re doing that behavior in the wild? Sorry for all the questions… I love these birds!!!
Harley doesn't tolerate bad attitude from plastic cups nor should she have to. This clear plastic cup here is incredibly disrespectful. I think after this session, the cup will behave more appropriately😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂
I have done tons of research on African greys and cockatoos (because I would like to own either) but their are no breeders or rescues in Scotland within a reasonable distance to travel that is anyway But I will just get to watch cockatoo videos especially Harley’s 😂

There are many different species of cockatoos and prices can vary greatly. These birds are high strung and very needy. People who live with them devote their lives to them and make many personal sacrifices. A Cockatoo will never fit into your life...you need to fit into his/her life. Parrot rescue shelters are full of birds whose owners couldn't live up to the commitment of providing a 'forever home' to a bird. And a lot of these birds are cockatoos. You might want to visit a shelter and even volunteer to help clean some cages. Bird owners have to do lots of cage cleaning and other types of cleaning. A shelter is a great place to observe everything that needs to be done for a bird. Peace.
