I was there about a year ago and will be again this Christmas. Side note, my nephew and niece are half Finnish and half Cayman. Rum point is a nice place to enjoy your Sundays if you know some locals :).

I mean I’ve never even seen somebody grab onto a sea turtle like they can haul somebody around they aren’t dolphins. People eat enough of them there already.
That place looks beautiful... Nice video but I don't do the same thing to Turtles on Hawaii. I bet you'll get a serious fine for what you've did 2-2:15 min :)
Reka Nagy Hi, it was all on the main one, Grand Cayman :) part with sting rays was at sand bar which is 4 km in the sea and you go there from Rum Point :)
What excursion were you on that you saw eel and turtles?? I've been six times and only ever seen rocks and fish....we are obviously booking the wrong tours!
Turtles were not in the ocean/sea .... they were somewhere in turtle farm. I dont remember more details :/ But we could swim with them which was cool. The eel or how they call it was during the trip to sandbar. After they let you pet with stingrays then they take you for snorkeling a bit further from the sandbar. One of our guides knew where they are hidden so he led us to see them. So we were probably lucky. I definitely recommend the trip to sandbar. It was for $50 and we went twice. Its better to go when its sunny and when there are no waves at sandbar so you can fully enjoy it. The tour which we took was going from Rum Point :)
It would be nice to present places without such self-promoting...touching and holding animals...respect the species where ever you are. I´m sure your friends and family will have enough pictures and videos so you can prove you have been there and done that....

Lets see if I ever go to Hawaii ;) This was in turtle farm so it just felt like right thing to do as these turtles were pretty chilled ;)
You are not supposed to touch them the mucus on their shell could get contaminated and you could kill it 🤬

the weather is the same all year round, I would avoid hurricane season. Cayman hasn't had a hurricane in over 15 years but you can never be too sure.
I'd say November. It's a bit colder then. June it could be too hot as it was a year ago. I will be there again this December.

Justin Keyes Unfortunately did. Probably different kind of stingray. It is really rare to get attacked by them in general though.
