Great video. I needed this. I sourced $1000 in inventory for only $150 bucks or so. I feel like I have a whole new meaning and purpose in life. I work full time 10 hours a day and i freaking hate it. I'm married with two kids and that is the only reason why i haven't quit yet. But I'm slowly building my ebay empire and have just hit $500 mark on sales. I'm so excited to quit to pursue other interest for making money eyeing instead of being stuck in an office all day. Any ways love your advice. I set a plan to quit my job dec 31 this year and never work for anyone ever again.
I think so too! I went to savers in Danbury the other day and thought, “hmm, there must be a reseller stocking this stuff or making deals” went next door to the Goodwill and found some great finds.
There are bins at the GW bins, just ask the workers there, they have dozens in the back... So...I ALWAYS get one each time I shop there...cost is $1.50 with a lid, $1 with no lid
hi rakin missed the live feed, I got some 18 gallon blue bins at Big Lots $4.95 they also have a discount 20th-29th if you buy $50 $10 off 100 $20 off $40 off for $200 and $100 of $500
Ive been watching your videos for awhile. I never messed with clothes until I started learning from people like you. I started a relationship with a local resale shop and I buy straight from the store. They sell me 7-10 boxes a month of high end clothes and other items. Ive been selling on amazon and eby for 12+ years, again thank you for your help and hints. It has expanded the different items I sell.
Liked your garage sell story. My wife and I went to our first garage sell last weekend. Found only one item at the last one we that we stopped. Someone was selling a Cobb Grill for $25 that sells for over $400 new on eBay.
Thanks for all of your video's and help to the community! Do you have advice for when eBay "hides" listings? I have 645 active, but only 5 are being shown as truly active and searchable. :(
I would suggest double checking your listing. Maybe adjust your title, key words or description so the listings are easier to find in the search results.
@@Raikenprofit They are actually hidden by eBay. Auctiva/Ebay glitch caused some duplicates and eBay put us on a 7 day suspension with our listings being hidden. They 'said' (haha) they fixed it, but found out they had not. 3rd phone call did fix it, but less than 24 hours later, only 5 are visible. Thanks for responding. Man do you ever sleep? lol Karen :)
Steve you are such an awesome guy. You always share information to help us that most people would not. And you put the spotlight on other youtube channels promoting them. You are not a selfish person. I have learned so much from you and I get so excited when you post new vids! Love you Steve!
I can't believe what I have learned so far today. I will start looking at TAG SALES this week. My husband just went blind and we need to find another way to earn money, just to survive. Iam so excited to get started.
Hey Steve... Just caught this amazing video. Missed the live show but always love watching your informative videos! I am learning so much from them. Thanks for taking time to make them. Tell Mama Profits hello and thanks for making such an awesome son! Tina
You guys are great in terms of giving useful, pallatable information.Jesse, you inspired me big time-o! Also 23 and trying to figure out how to infiltrate the ecommerce world. Definitely getting on those links Raiken listed. Raiken- keep posting more raw stuff like this! So much love from South Africa!
I heard selling on Amazon is becoming more difficult. Amazon is now asking for documents on certain products. I think Amazon is intended for people who actually have their own branded products. It's not the same as eBay.
ThriftSchool Yeah, but I mean as far dollar amounts go, not having a private label product and trying to make big money on Amazon, is pretty much wasted effort.
Not really, some products on Amazon are gated, those gated ones i just list on Ebay, and sell everything else on Amazon, selling on Amazon is so much easier due to not having to create a listing on ebay, no messages from buyers, no shipping each item.
Hey raiken quick question for ya. There is a huge pick and pack fee that is slapped on every book I try to sell. Almost as much as the book itself! Is there something I'm doing wrong? Basically every $5 book has a $5 pick and pack fee. My margin is like 1% like that. Is there a way to reduce is with an option I selected?
