Many countries have been shifting into a war economy. They are stocking up raw materials, but their purchases don't show up in the reports very easily. We lost another scrap yard in my area, they closed down and the others remaining aren't looking too terribly busy. Got to use supply and demand curve to find equilibrium pricing. Also remember, Wallstreet has kept commodities artificially suppressed for many years. Couldn't go on forever.
Wow what area is this Scrap yards are actually closing down My area is extremely busy All yards are crowded with customers and overflowing with material coming in

Im suprised you didn't mention the sanctions imposed last week on Russian copper, nickel and aluminum. Last time we had a sanction fear on palladium we saw 3k an ounce for a short period
Certain countries are hoarding precious metals and semi precious metals. If i have all the water for instance, it doesn't matter what someone says the price is. What matters would be what i say the price of the water is
The reason for the prices is the war in the Middle East and the expectation that Israel will escalate the conflict. Cartridges are made of brass and shells made of steel and aluminum
Always great information Tom, got .69 cents a lb for cans yesterday in Wisconsin. Thanks again 🇺🇸👍

The amount you will get for something like that is negligible
In ohio our prices have remained unchanged across the board.
Why copper prices are high, gold, and silver because dollar is losing its value. So it's actually acting like store of value.
