I think Thrall's gift is innegotiable. Hexing infestors is essential to stop zerg death knight, and bloodlusting a gorgonzomo/jim raynor board is a very nice finisher. I also like to run Bob to deal with big minions or to freeze the enemy board. I ise Bob to replace Golganeth because I am not crafting a rotating legendary.
I am also running Exodar while I don't have Jim Raynor. Yes, Raynor is better, but Exodus is good too, it just changes the deck from focusing on.lauching a bunch of smaller ships to just launch one big ship. It's still very playable.
What people running in protos priest to it be so low? I playing Zerg DK and Protos Prist mainly right now and have pretty nice results on Priest. Yes DK definitely stronger, but Protos Priest should be low Tier 2 or top of Tier 3 by want I experienced. And my list isn't optimal.
A lot of people just really haven't optimized their decks at all, and Protoss getting punished by faster decks (which is fairly thematic tbh). I think Protoss mage is the same. In Protoss Mage I personally cut Warp Gate and Void rays from my list because they're just way too slow. Those 4 cards slots being open gives you a lot of flexibility, and they mess with the Chrono Boost draws anyway. The only benefit having Warp Gates up for Mage is playing two colossus in a turn, which isn't really needed unless you think that the enemy can kill you from hand the next turn. And Void Rays only help to fight for board, which isn't needed most of the time when you can just put better cards in their place. I think Protoss Rogue has a chance once that deck is optimized. It's much faster than Priest or Mage, but it also doesn't have the best top-end compared to Priest or Mage. Protoss Druid has me at a loss, it just doesn't feel like it has a win condition. Hero Power Artanis Druid may have a chance once the Groovy Cat synergy is fixed, but even then I don't think it'll be higher than Tier 3 at best.
@@acat5338 I didn't play much protos, except priest, yet, but I agree. Year, Warp Gate just plain bad, never included that card. Void Rays i tried, they happened to be better then expected (I expected bad results), they are ok, but you don't have place for them in the deck. Chrono Boost isn't really good in priest ether because you may get 2 Motherships and in most cases it's really bad. Sometimes I play 1 mainly to boost random Colossuses I get from Mothership. And year, Artanis is bad in priest too, just too slow: who cares about zealots, hero power isn't important for the deck and 2 mana discount is nice but not for 7 mana. Other protoss cards in priest are really good.
I feel like the zerg and Terran classes got the sweeter end of the deal, with Terran being slightly better. Protoss got shafted. Just from one card (the draw for all three) zerg got the draw two reduce cost, Terran gets the draw two, get a bc piece, both at 3 mana. Toss got a 4 mana draw two with a 3/4? Just one example.
The 3/4 charge with draw 2 for 4 is most likely the best of all 3. Its main issue is that it lacks minions and some aoe spells. Also their hero card is the worst of them all, still not bad, just not broken like Kerrigan.
Well, you gotta give protoss something to fight of the aggression, if the entire game plan is play a 12 cost card. Not like they have anything going on except Mage maybe
Nah. Terran Asteroid Hybrid Shaman FTW. Ghost and Seige Tank are too slow and Lock On’s just a bad card. Might as well use Asteroids instead! The starships are an excellent source of additional damage to face, on the Ceaseless burn down turn. I’ll put my code in a reply to this comment. 🤠👍
Asteroid shaman has always been bad, it's only good in certain matchups and vs poor decks. Especially now there's absolutely no way asteroid shaman is good, it gets hardcountered by terran decks (they generate too much armor and minions you can't clear). And it's far too slow to deal with zerg, again you can't clear their buffed up swarms.
@ I ran against a very similar deck twice on ladder earlier, both times I beat it quite easily. It's just far too slow to go for asteroids and you're losing your tempo which the deck is all about.
The timing on that final clip, it was, as the kids say, kino poggers
Love your content. Thanks providing such high quality stuff :)

15:5 with the deck to legend.

@ Try my list. It’s got Terran cards too and is extremely proactive.
@ I ran against a very similar deck twice on ladder earlier, both times I beat it quite easily. It's just far too slow to go for asteroids and you're losing your tempo which the deck is all about.
@ I disagree. The deck is plenty “fast” vs most opponents. But, if ya wanna dismiss my list without trying it, that’s your choice. 🤷♂
It didn't. It's extremely unbalanced. But I'll still play because I'm masochistic lol.
