15:46 I call this a Gucci Gunship. 28 mech marines on a continental has 728 combined DPS, which comes out to almost twice the DPS/mass of broadswords. It's still far more fragile than real t3 gunships, and more APM intensive to prepare, but if you have air control it can be deadly. Other transport trivia: * Cybran Deceiver stealth gens keep working when loaded into transports. * If you want to do a doom drop, the easiest way to load a lot of transports at once is to spam a bunch of back and forth ferry commands, then give new orders once all the units are loaded. * The UEF T2 gunship has a single transport clamp that can hold one t1 or t2 unit. * The Cybran T2 transport has an EMP gun that can stunlock t1 or t2 units (including ships) as long as it continues to fire.
BRUH cybrans bombs with stealth Deceiver they now have optical invisibility , so until stealth Deceiver they would think that it's onlly 1 stealth Deceiver
7:22 if you use an attack command after the move. the transport will drop the units at the last move command and then the units will advance and attack up to the attack point
Actually super useful. I have been playing for like 6 months and never knew the difference betweent ferry and transport functions, or that you could combine them with waypoints and factories to automate stuff. Before now loading up and using transports was one of the most tedious and micro intensive parts of the game.
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:13 🚢 *The fairy icon is a beginner-friendly way to use transports. Simply left-click the fairy icon, click the drop-off location, and units will automatically follow the route.* 01:30 🔄 *Fairy commands can be automated by queuing up units while the ferry is in transit. It will return, pick up new units, and repeat the route as long as the icon is present and the transport is alive.* 02:27 🤝 *Multiple transports can assist each other by right-clicking one on the existing fairy icon. They will collaborate in dropping off units and continue the route together.* 03:36 🛡️ *Use shift-click to create waypoints for transports, allowing strategic avoidance of enemy defenses. This ensures a safer route for dropping off units.* 05:17 🏭 *Factories can assist fairy icons or transports, automating unit loading onto transports. Be cautious with factory-assisted fairy icons, as units might not load fully in certain situations.* 06:33 ⚖️ *To ensure a transport is fully loaded before taking off, have the transport assist the factory. This guarantees that the transport waits until it's full before following the route.* 08:22 🏠 *Manually using the transport button requires adding a "return home" command to the workflow to avoid potential losses. This step is not needed when using the fairy icon.* 09:14 🚨 *In emergencies, use the transport button to quickly drop off units directly beneath the transport. This can save units from incoming threats, though the transport may not survive.* 09:55 🔄 *Efficiently drop off units at different locations by selecting units, left-clicking the desired drop-off points, and holding shift for each drop-off. Send the transport back home for automation.* 11:20 🛣️ *Pre-queue unit orders before they disembark by holding shift while assigning orders. This enables units to execute commands immediately upon arrival at their destination.* 13:28 🚁 *"Ghetto gunships" are created by placing light assault bots on transports. These units can fire from the transport itself, serving as a tech one substitute for gunships.* Made with HARPA AI
I believe you can make transports out of an air factory and I think set the rally point point to a transport beacon to add more transports to a ferry route. I'm gonna have to try out a mix of t1 trans and engies out of single factory with that trick for reclaim fields.
This may be obvious but you can of course queue up a unit to go to a ferry waypoint and then give it more orders that it will start to do as soon as it gets dropped off at the other side of the route. It's exactly like queueing up orders just before units board the transport, but you probably have more time to do it 🙂I didn't know you could have a transport assist a factory though, that's neat!

You can also assign a large number of t1 spam in your main base with a few air fax to keep a stead supply of transports flowing. About 6 t1 land spam and t air with the assist with a few fighter bombers and air scouts in the mix. When you have air control. Re purpose the air factories to asf and slowly upgrade the lands t2 assuming you arent 1v1 and playing a land spam support role. Its fun but resource hungry. beware.
Hey great videos i watched your tips and tricks vids you do great Vids i like how you explain things i bought Supreme Commander 5 days ago after finding Gyles Vids i never heard of this game i usually play Total war Rome2, Men of war , Gates of hell , SW empire at war , Hard game to get into im going to play a few games and try to get the hang of it ,looks so easy watching Replays but i find it hard to remember everything you need to do and know ill give playing on FAP a while till i try it, i dont want to make a fool of myself dreading the ranking do they have to have negative scores mine would be -2000. I hope you do move Vids i learnt so much from you;- Holding Alt sending Enginers out for the factory the split bombing (( SO GOOD ) etc...and never knew what the ferry icon did, messed with it but just ended up doing a drop and holding shift and doing a waypoint back . So good i will be using the ferry from now on i hope your channel grows i like having a few to look at , Yours ,Gyle and Brinks . GREAT Video

Does the deceiver conceal the aircraft?
@@alexoja2918 yes.
Best part of getting into this game late is i have a billion old videos telling me super useful stuff
Transport mechanics prove that this game is still the best over engineered RTS ever made, even after 16 years.
I knew factories could assist ferry points, but i had no idea transports could assist factories. Very cool tip
Played for quite a while, didnt know for transport assisting factory trick. Tnx for info and gr8 vid
Yeah I've been playing since nearly release of this game and didn't know about that

The alternate factory method is actually very intresting. Great video!
I will forever love the design of UEF transports 🥰
that opening shot of the Star Lifter was awesome. Haven’t even finished watching yet but, great stuff 👍👍
