So in the example you show at 16:57 the player that played the 3 of trump would be considered under bidding because their 3 is less than the winning bid of 5, correct? Hope I am understanding under bidding correctly.
The 3 of Trump would not be underbidding, because it's trump and there is no other trump higher than it in that column. Underbidding is if you aren't the current winning bidder when you play the card.
Thunderworks Games is about to launch it. I’m not sure of their distribution of it but you might want to ask them directly if it will only be available on their site or through normal distribution. Spoiler… The game is absolutely fantastic! Great mix of mechanisms that works really well. Lots to think about in a short game
I agree, the game IS absolutely fantastic!!! We played three different games the night we first played Goblin Vaults and it was by far my fav! It’s super fun, makes you think, and definitely makes you want to keep playing it! HIGHLY recommend!!
I ran into a situation when the warden card and all the block cards are the same suit. So I can never change the warden card… anyone knows how to get out of this situation?
After the round ends it should change, as most certainly one or more players will bid using a card if a different suit. Does that help? Keep in mind, the 3 cards you are bidding on in the block have no function while in the block - meaning their suit does not matter until it is in your hand.

Do you always need to pay a Gear when you play a card lower than the current winning card? Or this only apply when you play the same number
