One of the greatest transport aircraft ever. It kept our allies with food, troops, and helped us to defeat Germany in WWII. Great footage always wanted to see the cockpit on the C 47. Thanks for posting.
I happened to meet one of your crew members 3 months ago. I saw his hat, while I was working at the Vision Center of Walmart in Waterbury Ct. I said hello, and congratulated him on such a Fantastic Job! They had flown into Oxford Airport, and needed supplies from our store!!! That's All Folks!
@Nick-cd4kd The runway is closed. As is the airport, but we were given permission to land there by the museum and Wright-Patt AFB, which makes it open.
