Your clear explanations and video that allows you to clearly see and follow along with you working the hardware makes this one of the best maschine videos I've come across. This is how a tutorial should be made!
i suppose this is my workflow also. i'll listen to a bunch of records, lay down a simple pattern with drums, lay down a bassline in a certain key, play a rhodes piano over it, maybe add strings...then export it as a stereo wav and chop it up. I then use the chops and create different patterns. Lay some more stuff on top. Tedious work flow but it's fun to me.
Your techniques are so simple and clean, very nice and clean set-up. This is what production is about. Sampling the real instruments was highly creative and original.
This is really neat. In all senses. Clean, crisp and tidy, love the workflow, made me really want a Maschine, not considered it before now... Great work yet again!
Thank you! I’ve got the workflow of Maschine down by now and I really enjoy it. Just take into consideration that there is a learning curve with stuff like this. If you get it: be patient at first :) Thanks for watching!
in my past i did my beats and then exported to my Ensoniq ASR-10 and then exported track by track to Pro Tools. By doing this i "painted" my digital to analog. So the sound was pretty awesome and because the ensoniq had a pretty nice compressor and others modules i didnt have in digital.!!!
Excellent work on the lit beat with the Maschine. :) Love the hardware, it's so straightforward to get awesome sounds going and layering with the grouping function.
Thank you Mattias! I love this piece of machinery too. The workflow is just so straight forward and fast... I can accomplish exactly what im aiming for in a matter on minutes! Thanks for watching!
Yeah definately go for the start point for the sample or just nudge them in your sequence grid. Time option is one of my favourite things about FL because its just a knob that delays your sample playback, this does alot of things to building grooves, use it almost always on my hi hats and percussion
Awesome! Lagom🙌 Funny I was just today trying to find this word, cuz my friend she is in Stockholm right now on a trip, she went to some distant area around to check Aurora Borealis. Anyways. Great skills, thx for sharing with us 🔥 and great home studio u have, beautiful 👍👍👍 One more thing. This midi keyboard right next to Arturia is very cool, I saw it at some exhibition back in the day
Love these videos. We share lots of similar gear. Mk3, Keystep, OP-1, Minibrute 2s (which your video was one that helped push me towards it). Would love to see more hip hop beats with the Minibrute 2s. Actually a video like this, chopping up a sampled MB2S sequence could be dope.
I came to this video after watching thousands of midi equipment and synths. And now you became really inspired after feeling your flow. What do you think about collaborations?
Great result! I really liked the vibe of it, kinda relaxed layback :) How did u liked the workflow compared to the ususal "picking up a vinyl and sample it"? Seems like making ur own samples from scratch has some benefits but with all those software and Hardware synths, the possibilitys are endless but also overhelming^^
Thanks for liking it! Well... The thing I like about using samples from records is that you never really know what you get and that you'll have to with with the sample and transform it to whatever you like.... In this situation its just harder to come to a decision with the sound. So I just said to myself: Vibraphone - Why not? Then I just ran with it. I prefer to use "real" samples because its limited from the beginning and forces me to work harder. Its just more fun like that. But I also think this result came out pretty nice, I like the track I made here :)
Well... I don’t make music for my day job but I’m a coordinator and mentor for young adults in an activity house. I’m responsible for the recording studio we have and I do some of the videos for our marketing of the house. So... I guess I’m using some of my creativity in my day job.
Dope!! Satt o leta efter lite info angående Mk3an för jag tänkte införskaffa en o börja lära mig göra min egna beats o snubbla över din video när det plötsligt dök upp lite svenska haha.. Bra video keep up the good work!!
Thanks for another great video! I've learned a lot about how to use my mk3 creatively while watching your content and appreciate your style and accent. After watching this video I have a question: At around the 2 minute mark you show how to drag midi to audio. When I do this I get a little thing that pops up say "exporting audio - Please keep mouse button pressed," Which I do. Then I drag the audio to a new group. My issue is that the new audio clip only plays when I press the play button and doesn't do anything if I press the pad its assigned to. Furthermore, when I open the sampling page, "edit, slice, Zone," are not at the top like they are when I'm using something that is loaded from the browser into a "sampler." I'm curious if there is a step I'm not seeing you do because of edits. It's a really neat trick, and I would like to use it. I'm an mk3 noob, who is eager to learn the ins and outs.
Hi! Thanks for liking it! I'm not sure what you're doing wrong here but it sounds a little like you try to drop the audio on the group and not the pad. Make sure to go into the group and drop it on the pad you want to assign the sample to and it should work. The fact that it plays when you start the sequencer might be that the recording is still left on the group where you try to drag it from? I'd love to help you out but this is my only guess at the moment
That actually helped perfectly. By dragging it on the group rather than the pad, it was loading it as just "audio" under the Sound tab A.s soon as I put it on the actual pad it put the converted midi into a "sampler" and I could edit it properly! Time to go make a beat. Cheers!
This is a new kind of art on youtube: creating this kind of amazing media content.
❤️
I know.. I wish I could record myself when I make beats but I look like a goof ball
The Essence of Hip Hop bro
Love how you explain your thought process. Great beat, salute🙌🏻
Ohkami Music 🙏
Totally agree with you. Thumbs up!
I'm loving how you explain the actual process of making it! Inspiring
Thanks

Amazing how much work you put into these videos I watched from start all the way to finish!
So cool to watch this process. Learning more every day about the MK3 it really is a solid production machine.
Thanks!
You’re right, Maschine mk is a beast :)
i suppose this is my workflow also. i'll listen to a bunch of records, lay down a simple pattern with drums, lay down a bassline in a certain key, play a rhodes piano over it, maybe add strings...then export it as a stereo wav and chop it up. Very cool, Brava and thanks for the lesson. I just love to watch how other people compose music, inspiring.
:) Thanks for watching!

2:10 is the best tip ever. Very Helpful
what a cool beat, very chill, love it. I also like that you showed some of the stuff that happend on the Maschine on your computer screen :-)
Thanks! Well.. I don't know if that camera angle is the best but... I think it worked for this on, glad you liked it!

Thanks man!
Love those scratches, man! Keep up the good work. Dope beat! Regards from Romania!
Thanks a lot
Beautiful workflow! Keep up the amazing work and effort you put onto it! 😉
Thank you Gabriel! I appreciate it!
Thanks for watching
I'm supposed to be learning a piece of gear. But I cant stop watching this awe inspiring Art. Thank for sharing your gifts Accurate.
another classic vid from Accurate. NICE
Thanks!
This is tight. You don't need records or CDs to make a sample based beat. You could create your own compositions to sample for the beat.
True! I still enjoy sampling real vinyl as well. It never hurts to try new things every now and then.
Thanks for watching
Excellent and informative video. Love watching your process and workflow.
Learned loads from your videos...( sampling/ recording into Maschine) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Back to the basics! 👏👏👏
Yeah
Now that was some beat making! Gött mos!

Smooth!!!
Dope man. Props from Italy
Fire! My Dude
Fresh! Nice work Acc 🔥👊🏻
This is amazing!! Great work fam! 🤘
I heard it’s good to layer claps just ahead of each other. You can do this by changing the pitch of one so one is slightly slower than the other
I love a real long and obviously butchered & layered clap to make a track 'roll' along. This works.
Yeah! I chose to modify the start points of the claps instead.... makes them feel bigger :)

Just curious... Is your dayjob related to music as well? Cuz you got some mad skills there... Thumbs up, awesome and motivating videos!

You make it look so easy...
It's not that complicated really :D
Sick workflow on the machine thinking about getting the micro or the new mk3 machine or push2 not rly sure?

Dope video! Thanks! What’s the keyboard you have?
I hope you do a video about arrangements and beat structure
The Moment you say "this sounds way to clean" i was like, use the sp404!! 😂 But whatever, I like the beat anyway. The op-1 got such a nice sound!
Right! I could have done that! Good idea!
Thanks for watching!
How you fit your turntable turned like that? Are the back legs hanging? Whats holding it in back?
Superb and keep them coming. What font are you using for the logo?
It's fucking lit
Pull out that MPC!!
