I think Beurbe is patient and is doing this to prove a point. He will roll out similar lines as before to give them a chance and they will mail it in and he will shake it all up. The leash will be short
Put Domi and Knies with Matthews.. Marner between Nylander and Robertson. Playmaker between two shooters. Patches Tavaras and McMann. Lorentz Kamp Jamrock. Extras Dewar Homberg Reaves
Absolutely beautiful
This but I'd move Jarnkrok at his cap hit and put dewar/Holmberg on the 4th line instead.
Marner at centre is soooooo obvious. Smart, defensive minded, playmaker.
yes man.. Ive been shouting this at the clouds for the last year. Why are we even talking about Nylander? Marner is the best choice to move to C. This team needs Tavares to slot in at 3C so desperately
so obvious that they are not even considering it
I totally agree! It seems so obvious to me. He's more suited to centre with his defensive skills. He just has to learn how to take face-offs.
Marner at trade block is soooooo obvious lol
Well, it seems based on Versteeg's views and analysis that Leafs ' eggs are still in one basket .
Not only in powerplay, but in the field game too.
Its interesting to see, how Berube do change the roles. Of even is he interested to experiment that.
He is an experienced old school coach. Is he too old ( school) ? We will find that out during this year.
im with the familiarity scenario until they get some games in learning a new system then shuffling the lineup
stolarz 30 years old a 109 career games played doesnt this remind you all of jack campbell?
Yes it certainly does.
The core four and a half is going to have to do it all alone once again. There is no one else!!!
Burkies gem.
If Stolarz delivers 910+ goaltending for 40 games and the playoffs...... we have a much improved team. Forwards will only need to deliver 2 to 3 goals per game to win. Which is what they do in playoffs.
What's the argument here that our top 6 shouldn't be on the top lines? Weird
Marner at centre!!!!!!!
Put somebody on PP1 who can shoot the puck from the point. We've been lacking that for years. No disrespect to Rielly, but he's not that guy.
Woll has struggled to stay on the ice in his career? Stolarz was drafted in 2012. He has 109 games in 12 years! Every goalie struggles to stay on the ice in their career. Dumb take. B-bye!
like it matter, leaf fans like to blame the goalie, like when they blamed Freddie. Freddie got further in the playoffs than the leafs have in last 8 years. The issue is more team defense than it is about the goalie. too much leaf, skip
OMG yes get Rielly OFF the PP unit - how are we still running this program???
Anyone in 2024?
Nylander at center only works if they had another solid 2nd line guy to fill the void if they are putting Tavares as 3rd line center
