Brilliant craft as always Sarah. If you ever do another shoe one the quote “Not all who wander are lost” would be another great quote 💛

Brilliant use of an old bit of shoe, looks perfect in the picture. 💚
Rachel, I Love that old shoe and was so glad Sarah didn't toss it back that day she found it. Even happier that she used it in this lovely, nostalgic box frame picture, grouped with her other finds. : )

Sarah, I ADORE watching you fix pottery with gilding. 10 years ago I found out about kintsukuroi and I got a tattoo on my shoulder of the symbol and added the words "more beautiful for having been broken. I love that you usually work with a kintsugi heart. Truly an artist heart, XOXO love you so@!

If you get some flat sheets of metal like copper or silver then use your template that would be so interesting, using a band saw or jewelers saw to cut it out.you can also use a small jewelers hammer for texture, may be even reduce the template and hay presto you have a pendant or earings,
looks so good xx

So sorry just got round to you son and family came down from out of town.Big weekend Granddaughter graduation sat.
It looked like a lot of flaffing about, you must like doing them because it takes you so long. If you count the speed up bits it must take you a few good hours. I bet your picture was snapped up it looked really nice inspirational with the childs shoe. What does the other half do while your crafting ? all the editing maybe. Thank you Sarah 😀 and the editor :)
