It probably feels incredible to hear Christopher Hitchens say "that's a very good question."

What a fascinating man Christopher Hitchens was! He was just real and sincere and thoughtful, enlightened, so articulate, frank and bold but not confrontational or angry... i noticed in all his debates his oponents admired him despite their opposing views.

The world would be a much better place if people paid attention to what Christopher wrote rather than the 'other' books. A man whose vast intellect was matched well by his courage. Much missed.

Charlie rose interrupting to ask rhetorical questions that were already answered by what hitchens just said.
    Solid guy.

Almost half the comments here, at the time of writing, focus on criticising Charlie Rose for 'interrupting' Hitch. I think that we should bear two things in mind. First - Charlie was a professional TV journalist and talk-show host. He is well educated (BA and JD from Duke University)' His show ran for 26 years, with globally-rated guests (including Barak Obama no less than 11 times). His succesful skill was founded on intelligent responses, and driving the conversation. I don't think that Hitch had any problem with these tactics - they were fodder for him. Christopher was also noted for totally ignoring a further question if he had not finished thinking through his answer to the previous one - you will see several examples of this in this unusually personal and very poignant video - he died the following year. . . . . . . . proof indeed, that none of the gods care a toss about humanity.

@@sandrachisholm2310 No-one would want to live for ever, Sandra - that's just one of the daftest of religious concepts. "Eternal life" is the ultimate threat, not a benefit. 😉

Thankful for the interview, but the interviewer could've shut up most of the time. The frequency of interruptions was at an almost insulting level....
    The world misses❤ #christopherhitchens.

What an extraordinary man he was. I wish to know his opinion about today’s state of things and if he would still call himself a leftist.

33:19 I feel like Hitchen's possibly saw a side of Rose he hadn't here; we know that he is accused of chauvinism - I wonder if he's noticing this about the interviewer.

When u have money u can speak freely and express yourself however u wish. Theyll also memorialize you adquately. Keep everyone except for my mom dad brother and his son the hell away from my dead body. Their the only ones that recognize my existence anyways.

At the chance of an interview that was so important Charlie Rose tried to steal the limelight. His interruptions are apalling. Hitchens patience is remarkable

33:33 I think CH is stunned for a second here because CR hasn’t recognised the seriousness of the Clinton allegations. If true it makes more sense what happened to CR’s career.

Charlie Ross proving, yet again, he has absolutely no ability to shut up whilst someone else is speaking.
