When I first started collecting I only went for cologne that leaned masculine but after getting a few unisex fragrances I realized I can even rock some that lean feminine. Especially ones with rose, I love them. 😃
Yup rose is also a note in sicily, though it doesn't come off my skin much. However, I do agree with you though, I don't mind these type of fragrances anymore.
I say it leans feminine, mainly due to that nice peach note. After hearing all the hype I got a sample and instantly knew I would enjoy it more on a lady so gave to the wife.
Hey dude, I'm glad to hear you're on the mend. I hope your body fights off the rest of it-that-shall-not-be-named asap. I love Mancera fragrances including this one. I'm over in California and I get around 8 hours with this which isn't a big bump compared to what you get in Florida so you're probably right about it being the weather. My bottle is the screw-top version if that makes any difference. All my Mancera's have screw-tops except for my bottle of Instant Crush which gives me about the same as your bottle of Sicily which is a shame since I'd heard it used to be monstrous. Some people still claim great performance with the magnetic top formula but I guess my skin decided to Rage Against The Machine and scream "fuck you I won't do what you tell me!" lololol If I ever get the chance to buy a used bottle of the twisty-cap kind, I'll buy it up and do my own comparison but for now, it is what it is! >< As far as SIcily goes, I loved your review. First time I smelled it, I recognized it does lean feminine but that doesn't bother me either. Smells damn good and I love rocking it in shorts and a t-shirt!
Yessir I'm getting there 💪🏽. Yeah the weather and skin chemistry probably have something to do with why it performs differently on me. Its not a bad performer though. I believe I have a sample from a screw top bottle of instant crush purchased early in 2021. I'd like to compare but who knows which bottle would get delivered to me after I make my purchase. Thanks for the compliment and I love it as well. Despite it not lasting as long as I expected it doesn't matter.
Instant crush is nice. In the same realm as Baccarat Rouge 540, a bit sweeter than sicily off my skin. I'm curious to know your thoughts on sicily after you've spent some time with it. If you have some extra time on your hands, drop back by and let me know.
@@darthteo I agree, Instant Crush to me is more masculine or unisex than Sicily. Though it's in the same genre as BR540, it isn't the same fragrance. I prefer it over 540 personally.
It seems like it'd be a good scent to layer with. Maybe layer with a fresher green, or blue scent of sorts. Maybe with Escentric Molecules 05 or Escentric Molecules 03, which to me, is a bit spicier than 05 for lack of better words.

@@darthteo that citrus is definitely strong but that's the beauty of skin chemistry. Sometimes these fragrances will give off different nuances off everyones skin. In the air is where I picked up that peach note which gave it a subtle perfume vibe. That's fine though, everything isn't for everyone 👍🏽. Stay tuned, as I'm working on a recent release of mancera.
This is my second bottle. This definitely doesn’t perform at all. It’s so disappointing because this is smells so good. I thought I was gas lighting myself

@@travisdowdell7432 vetiver fragrances are a bit of a hit and miss for me but I'm willing to sample it. Grey Vetiver has been the best one I've tried with Sultan Vetiver following closely behind it. I'll check out equality fragrances take on it.

Instant Crush I own it it’s great, when I got it I thought its too feminine but after a few wears it got the woody notes more and more.

Its my nr 1 hated fragrance worse then Dior Fahrenheit, I blind bought it gave it a chance and i returned it.
