I remember you said in your BFI video that the LG C1's 120hz BFI results in 38% persistence. Would you say that, for this reason, BFI is a good way to reduce the chance of burn in, or is it unrelated?
Bro yesterday I was playing Arkham Knight with BFI High at 60Hz, SDR HDR trick, DTM ON, screen brightness 38 and it looks absolutely phenomenal, like a next-gen game. Do you have a recommended way to force Vsync in games that don't have an ingame Vsync Option like New Super Lucky's Tale? I have a 55 inch LG C1 and Oled Motion Pro requires a fixed framerate that matches the refresh rate and while I can put a framerate cap with perfect frame pacing/framtimes with Rivatuner Statistics Server, its not with Vsync so there is tearing. I tried Vsync in the Nvidia control panel and also vsync ''forced on'' option in Nvidia profile inspector and the frametime is not locked to 8.3ms for 120HZ Oled Motion Pro. My GPU usage never goes above 40% (RTX 3090) so its not a hardware problem and when playing uncapped, I am well over 250 fps at all times so it really comes down to the vsync not having proper frame pacing.
I force Vsync on the Nvidia control panel and OFF in the games, then use Riva Turner Statistics Server with MSI Afterburner to lock the FPS. Special K has a more robust system for that too, I'll cover it soon
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 I'll try vsync on in the Nvidia Control Panel with the framerate limit set to 120 fps in Rivatuner Statistics Server. JUST step by step what to do, where to go from FACTORY settings, to setup of Cyberpunk, TO: finish. side question: do you use HDR feature of cyberpunk in game ?
This trick works with Native HDR in Game as well as Auto HDR turn OFF. HDR is an absolute and using BFI reduces the brightness causing undertracking of the EOTF. It can still work in some games.
Hey. I just noticed a thing and I thought I should tell you. I changed the game genre to Fps and I liked the extra nice colours on it but..few days later I noticed a huge increase of colour banding. I test it on ps5 and i can easily see it. Didn’t try on pc yet so I just thought to let u know. The colorbanding start to show even more when u increase the sharpness between 1 to 7 and 10
Ok I just tried to increase/decrease the sharpness and for me. Sharpness. 1/2/3 is when the banding is visible. Anything beyond that number is not a big issue. Until you hit sharpness. 19 and above and 19 is to much anyway

So can I unplugged the tv from the socket after 7 hours of stand by mode.the reason of Unplugging is some times I have power fluctuations issue in my house. Specially in the night when .so i was thinking to unplugged it completely.
When the TV isn't pulling power from the wall, the power fluctuations shouldn't affect it negatively. I don't think you should worry about it. On the other hand, if you give it a change to do its thing after you turn it off, it shouldn't be a problem either
OLED Motion Pro high on the LG C1 works at 60, 100, and 120fps/Hz. FPS=Hz lock the fps with RTSS Vsync ON on the GPU control panel and off on the games. It will improve the motion clarity in 2.6x making 120fps look like 312, 100 look like 263fps, and 60 like 158
These are for PC only. On the Xbox max out the in game slider than Match Mastering Peak Maxcll to the Maxcll of the Game, use Dynamic tone mapping with the 22 point calibration for OLED motion pro high at 60fps/Hz.
Did anyone try to play Alan Wake 2 on PS5 on a C3 using BFI?! Cause the whole game is in the dark. Adding BFI would darken the IMG even more..... And what about games that run at 30FPS. I used BFI in Cyberpunk running at 30FPS and it tripled the stuttering and ghosting......
Try using HDR Always ON on the PS5 instead of the Game's HDR and use Dynamic tone mapping plus the 22 calibration I shared in this video. Alan Wake 3 is dropping below 60fps, for BFI you need a solid 60fps/Hz. It doesn't work at 30fps. At 30fps 60Hz you get double images, at 40fps 120Hz you get triple images, at 30fps 120Hz you get cuadruple images and at 60fps 120fps you get double images. This multiple images effect doesn't happen with sample and hold (non BFI) for example 60fps 120Hz non BFI will look almost the same as 60fps 60Hz
thanks for working hard for us.. so Tried on my PS4 Pro on God of War Ragnarok HDR. The color do not pop (bcz of oled motion pro) but it def gives a better natural feel to it, I feel its def the most natural, look good settings I have tried. The thing I will probably never get used to is the difference in the eyes with BFI on, as if it is kinda flashes subtely and gives me a subtle attack to my eyes. With those settings, it is the least aggressive. I had to change warm to 30 because 50 was too yellowish. Other than that, do I need BFI on single player games? I thought it was only used for fornite and Cod?
The settings I shared here are for Win11. I'm still working on native HDR set for bfi. The brightness loss and flickering are what improve the motion clarity. Just make sure that the game is 60fps lock and the console output 60Hz
Use these settings and set the display to 60, 100, or 120Hz, then just make sure to get the corresponding FPS locked without drops. Lock the FPS with RTSS
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 Ok i did ALL of it (fps lock in NVIDIA panel btw) and BFI in CP 100lock + sdr'hdr trick VERY nice im most impresred with BFI but still testing gsync vs bfi
For 30fps the only option that works on the C1 is De-Judder 10 Motion Pro Medium (High doesn't work with interpolation). The reason is Medium is always at 240Hz, even if the TV is set to 60 or 120Hz. HIgh is able to change from 120Hz PWM (when TV is set to 60Hz) and to 240HZ PWM (when TV is set to 120Hz)
The flickering improves the motion clarity, at 100fps/Hz or 120fps/Hz on the LG CX/GX or C1/G1, the flickering is gone for most people. Flickering perception depends on the person
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 yeah I've only tried it on the C2 which only has 60hz BFI and the A90J which I think has 120hz BFI but the game I was playing it with was 60 fps. Maybe that's why. But alas I have a Sony Trinitron CRT monitor now which has the best motion clarity and image depth I've ever seen. Too bad it's only 17 inches lol.
CRTs can have 2 or 1ms of persistence at only 60Hz which means it can look like 500 or 1000fps in motion. I would like to get my hands on a 21"+ CRT monitor
I'm guessing that's CP 2077. I own a 65" C1, Series X, and I own CP., but i never played the game. Starfield will not stop crashing for me on Xbox. Might be time to play CP 2077.
The input lag penalty of using OLED motion pro high at 120fps/Hz is about 10ms (almost imperceptible and at least a 3rd of rendering lag). To use BFI you have to locked the FPS to 120 meaning the GPU has to be at 85% most of the time (unless using Dynamic resolution scaling), when that happens the input lag gets an improvement that compensates for the mere 10ms penalty of BFI, meaning you're most likely going to end up with the same lag, if not better (depending on the Game and system specs)
For example, right now I'm playing Evil West at 120 OLED Motion Pro high. The Render Latency reported by Nvidia performance overlay (alt+r) is below 10ms which is fantastic, you can add the display and peripherals and the end to end System Latency is great

For SDR here are the settings ua-cam.com/video/EmXv-_nTXZ8/v-deo.html
I remember you said in your BFI video that the LG C1's 120hz BFI results in 38% persistence. Would you say that, for this reason, BFI is a good way to reduce the chance of burn in, or is it unrelated?
OLED Motion Pro high reduces the persistence to 38%. Given the same brightness settings, bfi should be less likely to burn in vs non bfi
Thought so, thank you very much, I will use your settings.
Bro yesterday I was playing Arkham Knight with BFI High at 60Hz, SDR HDR trick, DTM ON, screen brightness 38 and it looks absolutely phenomenal, like a next-gen game. Then I turned off BFI just to see, and the highlights were so incredibly bright in a dark room I felt like my retinas were going to explode lol. I can definitely tell your settings let us get every last ounce of brightness from this TV, because that’s what we paid for!
Just a little side note, with this settings, what would you recommend for setting the actual IN-GAME brightness slider when we open the games in SDR?
Awesome 👌 The ingame brightness slider at Default for all games
I have the LG C1 and I look forward to your recommendations. It seems that your C1 and my C1 in Canada are different. You have settings that do not show up on my C1.
Which settings are you referring to?
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 - My LG C1 doesn't have HDR Select Mode, HDR Tone Mapping, HDMI Signaling Override, plus everything below that heading, Game Optimizer, Game genre. This is just some of the stuff that is NOT on my C1. I forgot to mention that a YT channel HDTV with a guy from England also has different headings on his tv that I don't have. I don't know what country you are in nor why there are these differences between different countries for the same tv.
First time I hear that, make sure you're on HDR on Win11, HDMI PC mode, Game Optimizer mode. Step on Select Mode and press quickly 1113111
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 - "Make sure you are on HDR on Win 11,HDMI PC mode". I 'm not sure what you are talking about unless you are referring to Windows 11. I have a MacBook Air and I am not hooked up to a gaming program. Is it that program giving you all those headings that I don't have ?
The settings I'm sharing in this video are exclusively for Windows11 HDR gaming.
Nice video. Wish you could help with s95b settings
I'm planning to collaborate with AllAboutTKK and learn about the S95C, S95C, G3, and more
Enjoy both channels. Thanks
What I recommended in that video is no longer necessary. Use this instead ua-cam.com/video/wY9GMjIfgSM/v-deo.html
I really hope it fixes it or helps a bit because the stuttering due to the improper framepacing completely ruins the experience. You spin the camera in the game and jump around and it makes you think about that instead of just enjoying the game. Looking forward to your video on Special K.
Love your videos thank you, is there any chance you an do a best settings video for Tears of the Kingdom on LG C1 via switch at 30fps and Yuzu at 30fps/60fps. 😁
Yes, I've been waiting for the release date to do it
My LG C1 starts on 17 (instead of 15) for 22 points. Any problem? thanks.
N9 problem, the reason is that it's different depending on the tone mapping l, if you select Tone Mapping OFF Mastering Peak Maxcll 540 you'll see the same values I have
hi plasma tv. On that settings you use and reshade pd(curved levels)?
No. Reshade only if you don't have an LG TV
Hello my friend, please can you make a configuration for OLED motion pro low and medium please, I'm trying this but it feels something is off i think the colors are too dark, something is off...
I will make a recommendation for Medium. The brightness is supposed to be reduced in Half with Medium. What do you mean by it feels off? Are you in a dark room? Do you have TPC and GSR disable on the service menu?
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 I'm not in a really dark room, i do have TPC and GSR off, I'm thinking about resizing the screen area to 75% to get more brightness, i tried it yesterday but Nvidia disables 10 bit color, just tried vivid mod with motion pro high and i liked it a lot

ok. you explained this well... but can you do a video, in which, you explain us ALL AND EVERY setting, starting from installation of Cyberpunk to our PC. and we have no setting at ALL. our LGC1 is at factory settings. but not much explaining each setting 1 by 1. JUST step by step what to do, where to go from FACTORY settings, to setup of Cyberpunk, TO: finish.
side question: do you use HDR feature of cyberpunk in game ?
These are global settings that work for all games including Cyberpunk. Tell me which part you don't have clear and I'll tell you.
The colorbanding start to show even more when u increase the sharpness between 1 to 7 and 10
Thanks for letting me know, I'll definitely look into it. I remember your color banding detection capacity.
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 lol yes😂😂😂
But I mostly forgot about it now me and banding became friends you can say😂 I just enjoy the new settings
Ok I just tried to increase/decrease the sharpness and for me. Sharpness. 1/2/3 is when the banding is visible. Anything beyond that number is not a big issue. Until you hit sharpness. 19 and above and 19 is to much anyway
Interesting, it makes sense that the sharpness makes it worse, also pushing the colors. Can you tell me the game you were testing?
I have ps5 and turn off hdr in ps5 settings. But I dont have “HDR Tone Mapping” setting in my lg c1 (game optimizer)
Tone mapping is for HDR only I don't have a PS5 but I figured out a trick for HDR always on ua-cam.com/video/tqi9Kud7QCE/v-deo.html
For SDR here are the settings ua-cam.com/video/EmXv-_nTXZ8/v-deo.html
What about if i use ps5 and not pc lg c2 doesn’t have oled motion pro it has only oled motion
On the PS5 use OLED Motion for 60fps/Hz Performance Mode games
Great !
Hey, so from what i understand you never use native hdr of the game with BFI ?
Yes, I do, but it depends on the game. I use Dynamic tone mapping with a 22-Points calibration to get more visibility near black
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 ok thanks for your help
Are these settings compatible with gaming consoles like ps5 or switch or that needs a different calibration?
These are only for Win11. I don't have consoles, but I still tried my best with these settings ua-cam.com/video/tqi9Kud7QCE/v-deo.html
Thanks. I will give it a try on my PS5. Great work btw. That 20% is always hard to achieve, but its worth it for perfectionists.

What about non HDR?
Use these settings and increase the OLED Light and Peak Brightness to your liking ua-cam.com/video/kFyyq9tNhlw/v-deo.html
hello my friend, can you tell me if the " black level" should be limited, full or auto ?
RGB full on GPU control panel and Full on TV (is the same as Auto)
Auto will correctly auto detect, so if you have Limited on GPU Auto on TV will be Limited and expand as it should
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 im doing some tests, for me looks better limited on TV and FULL on GPU settings this for gaming only
I've covered that extensively, check out more of the videos. Instead of forcing limited just lower the black level (called Screen Brightness on the C1) to 46 or alternatively Fine Tune Dark Areas-16 (same crushing as forcing limited but without affecting the whites)
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 for me vivid colors and WB C50 work a lot better with motion pro high at 100hz, I'm using +50 screen brightness and limited dark levels, this configuration is better for me but I'm always changing everything,
can i use these settings to get more brightness and better near black even without using BFI?
These settings without BFI are too bright and won't look good imo. But enjoy it if you like it.
Hi bro. Just want to know that Unplugging the tv after 6,7 hours of stand by mode. Will this cause any issue . I know pixel refresher runs after every 4 hours of use. For 10 to 15 mins.
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 okay thanks
I have a doubt, should I lock the fps in the game or lower the hz of the tv? as I understand BFI only works at 60 90 100 120 hz
OLED Motion Pro high on the LG C1 works at 60, 100, and 120fps/Hz. FPS=Hz lock the fps with RTSS Vsync ON on the GPU control panel and off on the games. It will improve the motion clarity in 2.6x making 120fps look like 312, 100 look like 263fps, and 60 like 158
How do i transfer these to the xbox? Do I use the ps5 video you released?
Are these still the best settings for cyberpunk?
No. I know better now. I'll revisit it
To acess truemotion the HDmi needs to be on console mode? pc mode doesnt work at all?
PC Mode Game Optimizer mode works with OLED Motion Pro, just turn off VRR and ALLM on Consoles
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 But on PC? What should I change? I never get the same results on truemotion using Pc as I have on consoles
How can you enable motion pro on xbox sx or ps5 ?
Turn off ALLM (Auto Low Latency mode) on the consoles, and turn off Boost mode on TV. Use 60fps and 60Hz output
Try it with these SDR settings ua-cam.com/video/EmXv-_nTXZ8/v-deo.html
thanks for working hard for us.. so Tried on my PS4 Pro on God of War Ragnarok HDR.
Better motion clarity will benefit almost every game
😮 wow great looking game, i have the the c1
Hey ! thanks for your work!
so can you recomend me a video how to setup BFI correctly? i want to check it out on 4090 LG c1 48" here with WBC :)
Use these settings and set the display to 60, 100, or 120Hz, then just make sure to get the corresponding FPS locked without drops. Lock the FPS with RTSS
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 OK and what about VSYNC in nvidia panel or in game?
Vsync in Nvidia Control panel and off on the games
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 Ok
i did ALL of it (fps lock in NVIDIA panel btw)
and BFI in CP 100lock + sdr'hdr trick
VERY nice
im most impresred with BFI but still testing gsync vs bfi
Does it recommended for bfi60hz c2 for trying those settings
Absolutely
For 30fps the only option that works on the C1 is De-Judder 10 Motion Pro Medium (High doesn't work with interpolation). The reason is Medium is always at 240Hz, even if the TV is set to 60 or 120Hz. HIgh is able to change from 120Hz PWM (when TV is set to 60Hz) and to 240HZ PWM (when TV is set to 120Hz)
Why i cant turn on oled motion when gaming ps5?
Turn off ALLM (Auto Low Latency mode) on the PS5, VRR, Freesync, Boost mode
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 do you know why brightness flickering when swinging at the streets especially when looking bright sky?
The flickering improves the motion clarity, at 100fps/Hz or 120fps/Hz on the LG CX/GX or C1/G1, the flickering is gone for most people. Flickering perception depends on the person

And then I suppose dark room & light room settings profile for each haha. Maybe even medium lit room settings in case it's enough to throw it off 😬
Not at all. These settings work for all games in all scenarios. I always use a dark room for the best picture quality

BFI is great for motion clarity but my eyes just can't handle the flickering.
If you're using a C1/G1 CX/GX BFI works at 100 and 120fps/Hz and the flickering isn't noticeable at all, the problem is to get those fps

@@plasmatvforgaming9648 Great channel bud. I appreciate your passion. 💪🏼
i know ur putting a lot of effort but this is all useless for online games brotha.... input lag
