I agree, I just put mine together and it looks amazing and I drilled holes in the tops of most of the pumpkins in order to put a rope light through it as well. But the top part is a pain in the ass to assemble, so I'm going to apply liquid nails to those three pieces so I won't have to deal with that shit again. 🎃
I have never had an issue with any prop but this one was a pain, I specifically looked up a video to see if anyone else had issues because mine seems to be crooked and not totally straight? I have the skull archway and I will say it is 100 % better built, even the plastic is thicker, not sure if that applies to the 2024 make but I have the original 2023 run
I agree this one is a little flimsy compared to other Home Depot items I've purchased. I have this pumpkin arch and the skull arch from last year. The skull arch is more structurally sound. The skull arch plastic is thicker and the shape of the skull arch is basically square where each section comes together making it sturdier. That said, I like both and I am happy with both purchases but the pumpkin arch will most likely need some assistance/added support if you plan to put it outside with any wind.
So these need external lights? Kinda disappointing but I do think i will be purchasing this since I’ve been wanting a nice looking pumpkin archway . I purchased the mesh one from Home Depot last year and it ripped within a month … I’ll need to modify this so it will stand up tho because yikes !
Cool but, I agree it's a two person job. Too bad it was not made more sturdy. Another thing that would have been cool, if you could have ran some LED light strips through it and light it up. That would be a bonus. Good job with vid. Who knew you would need hazardous pay for this one 🙂
