This song had me in tears when I heard it last week; so grateful God put your channel in my feed today. Thank you for recognizing His beauty in this epic song of the dark night of the soul! You really have blessed my heart knowing there are so many like myself; all over the world! Finding His mysteries on this mountain.
So glad you came across it and I hope you are encouraged,...there are some beautiful messages from so many of these Christian artists and my hope is to bring those messages to light 🔥
The way a man and wife should love each other is the way Christ loves us. When we look for love and find the love of Christ, there is nothing more we need. It transforms us and it opens our eyes to the true meaning of life. Lacey puts the this true meaning of life in her song.
This is a very good insightful analysis of it, you mentioned a few parts I hadn’t thought of. There’s just one aspect of it that I feel like you were so close to hitting when you quoted the verse about “abiding” from John 6.. This song is about her being completely overwhelmed in her experience, and realization encountering Christ in the Eucharist, which is something that is indeed a deeply intimate and overwhelming encounter with God’s love. I relate to this very much. In my childhood we went to some churches that downplayed communion to almost nothing, “it’s just an ordnance”. When I encountered it as a young adult, it was overwhelming, and that line hit’s hard “and they told me I couldn’t find you here. But here you are to prove them wrong”. To hear more about this aspect of it, she talks about it in her first interview with Ancient Faith Radio (available on UA-cam) Thank you for your video, and taking the time share about such a beautiful song. I’m a Marine Veteran and listening to the song for the first time last night, it choked me up
@patrickmcclintock3791 That's such a great thing to unpack and I hope I get the opportunity to do that for a future song, thank you for sharing that and I'm so glad you got something out of this video 🙏
Particularly rock music. I have soooo much i want to say LOL but for real. This is the rock and roll portrayal and embodiment of the Shulamite Bride in the Song of Solomon (Check out the Passion Translation of this and go nuts!!!! Haha have fun with that! Thanks again. #vertigoinmysoul
Rock music and Metal music does such an amazing job of expressing the weight of some of these spiritual messages, ...match that with the melodic voice of Lacey and you get a masterpiece 👌
Lacey is not old, she is timeless. ❤️👑🙏❤️ she is middle aged, maybe you are very young and when we are, (very young) we tend to think things that aren’t exactly accurate. Then we realize that as we grow and mature that we sometimes thought unrealistic things when we were younger.
Right before the bridge as the music is building up, there’s things that are being said. Can you separate the different audio tracks to hear what they’re saying?
Do you mean Trevor? That's not her brother. Brother in Christ, yes, but he's a brother from another mother. 😅 That's cool, though. I didn't know he was in a band.
It sounds like there's talking in the background, just like some Nirvana songs. I don't listen to Nirvana anymore. I used to use the Moises music app, and it just had the vocals out. Nirvana was one of my idols. If they were Christian, they'd be my favorite band!! I'm not saying everyone that listening to just the music, will go to hell. Well, even listening to the music not vocals, the devil was messing with my head. Just like with my ex, when it got bad. It's a shame that Kurt was blasphemous. 😭
Chills through it all I love Lacey I’ve followed her since the beginning ♥️♥️
What a great breakdown. Lacey is amazing. Her devotion is inspiring.

Oh and the ballerina is Lacey’s cousin Jennifer and the violist is Georgian Banov
