I looked on the map and you really barely miss out France when you go south from Cornwall, that was a very evil question
Lands end is visibily further out than just 'Cornwall'
Yeah, that was a bit of a tricky question. I was trying to picture how far Cornwall sticks out. My initial guess was Spain, but then I second guessed myself, as the question didn't mention if it's from the tip of Cornwall or not, then I looked at the globe right next to my computer, and the tip of Cornwall looked almost dead even with the tip of Brittany. I think even geography experts would struggle with that one
@@briantravelman But the question DID mention that it is from the tip of Conrwall. It said: "From Lands End in Cornwall".
@@Hilts931 Yes it's visibly clear when you have a map in front of you. But before checking a map, I honestly couldn't have said whether Cornwall or Brittany stuck out further west. So France and Spain could have been equally plausible answers. Portugal and Morocco are silly answers.
Iceland Jeremy. Not the Isle of Man
Going south from Isle of Man would probably get you to Wales lol
He's a fucking moron and a complete asshole scumbag.
Mikey McMikeFace shut up fuck face.
@@mikeymcmikeface5599 thats a bit of an overreaction
Mikey McMikeFace calm down snowflake
Jeremy: It's definitely not Morocco.
Her: Morocco, final answer.
Jeremy: Wrong.
Da fuq was she thinking?
He did then retract it though, to be fair. "or is it Morocco".
Ikr she’s Crazy
It's harder for people who remember the geographical shift from the Mandela Effect.
Probably thought that he was using reverse psychology?
😨😨😨
Its spain or france. I choose morocco!
Well she deserved to lose the 15k for being so stupid 🤣 he absolutely said ‘IT’S NOT Morocco’!!
'ok Morocco, final answer' despite being told its wrong, and if she'd have looked at a map of the world in the last year would have realised that there's a big bit of land in the way
Look a bit further he said or is it morroco so i could understand why she said that but still she's stupid
but he gave his wrong Isle of Man fact about Antarctica and with that logic, Morroco would have been correct. threw her right off.
Jerry Hatrick with that logic france is directly east of Australia
I agree that the question is a lot easier when you have a map in front of you. Even just playing the home game my mind's played tricks on my how big Iberia is, so I can see someone having even worse mental hallucinations sitting in the hot seat.
@@jerryhatrick1561 no, cornwall is west of isle of man so with that logic it'd be bloody Brazil! He did throw her off completely and didn't spell out to her that he was thinking it must be France or Spain i think. I love how they agreed Normandy must be pretty close, so she therefore thinks Spain is pretty much nonexistent in size by saying Morocco xD
wasting 2 lifelines on naples.....sad
Yeah, I feel like a lot of contestants are wasting the seat for people who can really go for the million.
@@bowlchamps37 Well if those people were so good maybe they would win the qualifying round
fiachraswaz I thought it was Genoa
i think his husband actually said "we've been to naples" :D
@@eewag1that's actually the furthest NORTH of the bunch
The Naples question was for 64k? That was way too easy
So easy
Yeh, especially with the comparison with the "Congo" question worth the same money.
3:49 that’s nearly correct, actually the next thing south of the Isle of Man is wales
pretty much the same
It's good that this version is airing, as the American one is about to come to an end. It will air its final new episode on May 31.
Trying to visualise a map can be tricky.
On an earlier TV quizshow, I was amazed to learn that Liverpool is further east than Edinburgh.
Silly cow actually said Morocco
okay mate just because you've been to Benidorm twice doesn't make you Einstein
I was unaware that WWTBAM is still running in 2019.
@@isaacw9091 feels like 15
I did think the Land's End one was likely Spain, but wasn't sure (France was likely too far east, Portugal is mostly "covered" by Spain but I knew there's a teensy bit that sticks out, and Morocco was the right answer if it was further west).
Turns out Britain is much smaller than I thought. It's Spain, yet it's actually almost _France._
How is the date of thanksgiving geography?
Knowledge of foreign countries and cultures is somewhat geography.
@@beng4186 No, it´s not.
@@bowlchamps37 what is it then?
@@bowlchamps37 Yes it is. It's an unfortunate thing called human geography
USA. British show
If you go south from the Isle of Man you hit Angelsey in Wales in about 30 miles
That last question seems pretty easy for a £64000 question. Kinshasa should be pretty well known for anyone doing quizzes.
really
@@MystiCalBEING89 100%, it's one of the more well-known African capitals
@@mpepp9 never hear of it only easy if u know i t
I love WWTBAM and International WWTBAM
lolll first one was quite tough.
the rest of them were insanely easy and should be really early questions 😂🤣🤣🤣
I couldn't remember if Naples was North of Rome or not. With the 50/50, I would have got it instantly.
ファイナルアンサーの後正解までを引っ張ったり、「もうこの額には戻れません」と言って司会者が小切手を破ったりという演出は日本(というよりみのもんた)独自の演出のようですね。
そうですね!
@Sheriff Hoyt what is that even supposed to mean?
@Sheriff Hoyt OP and myself were typing Japanese, whilst you were typing gibberish, for a reason unbeknownst to me, perhaps with the intent of making fun of another language, or with the sole purpose of trying to fit in.
@Sheriff Hoyt %$$*秣&%!?!
@@bernydellaca7898 Nope. The dude and i actually are writing in a language called Gianny, and you are being disrespectful to our culture by saying that: how rude of yours è_é
The 1st one is very easy because the Cook Islands are VERY closely related to us (New Zealand) - and I didnt know the naples question (Im only 14)
I would’ve said Morocco...
I'm actually surprised i knew all of these damn😂
The cook islands do not belong too new Zealand, they are a country in their own right in free association with new Zealand. Meaning that they allow NZ too do their foreign policy and defence with consultation with the cook island government. Their people are new Zealand citizens but also cook island nationals.
Due south from the Isle of man to Antarctica? Pretty sure you'd hit Wales first
Wales, then Cornwall, then you'd barely miss France, then Spain, then go through the entirety of Northern Africa.
As a froggie, i've really never seen "RSVP" anywhere
Just the fact to ask to respond is not consider as polite in French culture
never seen neither !
Whoever told Jeremy that the first land due south of the Isle of Man is Antarctica is off their head 😅 it's Anglesey
Wait, the Naples question was for 64K 😳😳😂😂😂
Are u for real that the question about Florence and Naples is worth 64k?
Lands end question was dead easy.
Not much in it between Spain and france
@@richyrich3927true but Morocco was a pretty moronic guess.
Wow thanks! As soon as Morocco is used as a choice of answer, I did not realized Spain is *that* close to Africa. I overestimated Mediterranean Sea's size.
There is even a piece of Spain in North Africa. Though it's not too late too realize that Gibraltar is just in front of morroco. You could probably pass your elementary school now
Answers
New Zealand dollar
French
November
Asia
Spain
Naples
Congo
A badly worded question, with "next" being the catchword. Otherwise, both Spain and Morocco would have been the correct answers.
7:44 i doubt that's pronounced as Ni -Jerr
In English it is actually pronounced that way
All those who didn t guess right away are not worthy of competing in any talent show
6:00 I would get an American not knowing this, but someone in the UK? Really? Fair enough maybe not knowing where Genoa is, but after that 50/50 it's so easy, Naples is THE Southern Italian city.. She has even been to Naples. I really don't get it.
I know this from the United States and I know Naples is more southern than Florence.
Why do they take 50/50 when they have no idea and then ring a friend anyway
Maybe she was hoping for Florence to be eliminated and she knew where the other cities are located. It's not like you can choose which ones remain.
The host is in the wrong place
Ok wtf is these easy questions just for 1000?
Yes genius that’s how the game works. easy questions come first.
@@aguyfromnz537 not being a genius they even ask what MONTH WAS THANKSGIVING that shit pissed me off.
"How good is you geography?" Don't Brits make fun of Americans' level of intelligence but your show can't post a grammatically correct question: How good is youR geography?
It's quite obviously a typo
I mean a lot of these aren't even geography
Jeremys eyes when she said Morocco!!!!!!!!!!!! HAAHAHHAHAHAHAH
"You blithering idiot" Jeremy thought when she said Morocco
Not really, because if you had actually watched the whole video you’d know that he started having doubts afterwards about whether or not it’s actually Morocco.
Wtf really? Morocco, omfg
Jeremy made her think that. It wasn't a ridiculous answer. Cornwall sticks out pretty far and Morocco is on the north west tip of Africa. I've sailed past Morocco and I wasn't sure she was wrong.
@@dreads9536 same here, makes sense considering we're literally an island nation, it could've been any of them. For example if i asked you what you would meet first if you sailed exactly west from the same point you probably wouldn't realise that you would reach a point that lies North of 90% of Canada's population.
Bet some of you would've said New York, Boston. Yet atleast in that case you can use the temperature for clues.
@@piccamix9345 Lol I tried to guess what was due west before I read what you wrote and came up with new York. And I've sailed across the Atlantic three times! :D
Dougal Murray He told her right off, as any thinking person knows, that it’s not Morocco. Britain is a small island, it doesn’t extend past 3 European countries.
@@boskee Then he changed his mind and said "Or is it Morocco" clearly he threw her off. That was the last inkling towards an answer he gave. The size of Britain is irrelevant if you don't know exactly where it sits geographically. All I'm saying is it's very easy to point out how dumb someone is once you've been told the answer.
Any of these geography questions would be million dollar questions in the American version lol
Apart from the American one obviously (the thanksgiving one and it wasn't really a geography question)
@@harrismazari5484 I think you may be giving Americans too much credit there. So many can't even point out the US on a map! I know these people may be trolling/faking it, but as an American I can attest to our atrocious geography knowledge: ua-cam.com/video/QFOpN957p3s/v-deo.html. Many of us can't even name the vice president!
@@CovidVirgin Far too many of those videos contain cherry-picked answers that are not representative of the general public. There are also videos like that for other countries, I've seen some for the U.K and Russia. It's just that more of those videos are of Americans, since they have a stereotype of being inbred idiots.
@@CovidVirgin If you believe that those videos are representative of the US you're dumber than the average American.
@@amelveladzic The cherry-picked answers you're referring to come from people known as "actors"
Morocco? It's underneath Spain lol
Well, part of Morocco IS more East than Spain, but thinking Cornwall stretches out that far into the Atlantic is quite ludicrous
After being told it's definitely not Morocco she went for Morocco... WHY?!
Because he then changed his mind and said "or is it Morocco"
How was Naples a 64k question, none of the cities were even close to make it difficult, Genoa bang in the north, Rome and Florence central and Naples in the south :) suppose it's easy if you know it
She'd even been to Naples so she should know roughly where it is
@@Septimus_ii She probably didn't read the map🤣. It does make a large difference whether you go by car or by plane. A typical 737 often doesn't have an inflight entertainment system showing the route like on larger planes.
It will easy if the choice is sicilian
Maybe she didn't know where Florence was. I personally didn't know where Genoa was so...
Stfu with ur ego
Jeremy shouldnt be allowed to say ‘i dont know’ he should have to say the answer he would give in a ‘gun to his head’ scenario, although he should be allowed to say how sure he is
I agree! Would add a bit more spice knowing whether he would've punted right
Brittany sticks out a long way, but Cornwall does too and sticks out slightly more
Jeremy "no it's definitely not morocco"
contestant "i'll have a punt at it, morocco final answer"
wtf??
Watch it all mate, he changed his mind and said "or is it Morocco"
Geography comp plus 3 minutes of a girl struggling with one question, taking up more than a third of the video :( love it regardless thank you
Can't wait for another week of who wants to be a millionaire?
🤣🤣🤣 her eyes when he said Isle of Man instead of Iceland 😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️
NOT FIRST
I think Ben Shephard should be on Who wants to be a Millionaire because he is smart
I'm Brazilian, I watch the brazilian 'Millionaire' every Sunday and I'm having fun a lot watching these videos of the British 'Millionaire'!!
2:15 been there xD
There were flags of countries on an episode of Pointless and Cambodia was a Pointless answer which shocked me because its most famous landmark is on the flag..! But it does make it easier when you've been ;)
Damn Clarkson does everything.... next he will be running for pres.
The woman on the thumbnail looks like Xena.
Admin's idea of geography: any sentence that has the name of a nation in it.
Yay New Zealand.
Kia Ora
Jeremy: "It is definitely not Morocco!"
Her: " D....Morocco"
Jeremy: 5:17 😳
Me 🤦🏻♂️
He went back on his answer and said maybe it's Morocco after that though
Can u really ask the host??
Yes, on this show and in France. However, the host doesn't have an earpiece or seeing anything that gives the answer away. They would see the question the same time as the contestant.
Morroco, really....
"It's in New Zealand and the currency used in New Zealand is the New Zealand dollar but the answer could be the Australian Dollar".
Some countries in the Pacific use the USD so its not totally out of the realm of possibilty like say Morocco
Error 101: Logic not found. Try reading my sentence again. @@alexkniaz530
@@cl8804 right thought you were criticizing his logic
The British Virgin Islands are a British overseas territory, and yet they use the US Dollar. Also the Cook Islands aren't a part of New Zealand similar to how the Channel Islands aren't a part of the UK.
shoredude2 wtf you mean not part of New Zealand I think half their govt officials are kiwis
Cook Islands: New Zealand Dollar
RSVP: French
Thanksgiving: ??? I just know it’s September or November
Cambodia: Asia
Cornwall: ?France?
Italy: ?Naples?
Kinshasa/Brazzaville: Congo!
5:29 I knew it was Spain, but only because I had studied the Tenerife dual-airliner accident, can't tell you how many times I heard "on the Spanish island of Tenerife just off to the west of mainland Spain."
These aren't geography questions..
Geography isn't just about location and countries
The cornwall is a county which if you further south you can go through the Bay of Biscay which is occupied of Spain
Occupied? Spain doesn't occupy any of its core's, Spain owns it. To imply its occupied by Spain is to imply a military occupation.
Yeah im understand you, but i said that biscay is a part of spain but i'm sorry many parts of the world is occupied of Spain, I'm from the Philippines my ancestry is from Spain, i know the spanish manner that's what i mean
husband even said, "we've been to Naples".
Do Brits just go on holiday looking at what the fucking beach looks like in the travel brochure??? How can you not look on a map and see which part of the country the city you're visiting is in??!!!
How do u sail south of Cornwall and end up in the Mediterranean 😂 L
I guessed Spain but Brittany is very close.
Did she listen to Clarkson about Morocco?
Was jeremy trolling?

I knew all of them :)

Was her name Heather Heath?
Just tap out with what you’ve won
Marocco... REALLY?!?!

Did these people not learn geography in school?
It's apparent no.
Hit 0 repeatedly for some nice quick changes of mood xD
Knew all of the answers :) Geography is cool
weird flex but ok
Every idiot would know that morocco is in africa, or at least that its not in europe, so how in the world would you think you can sail straight south to it from britain is beyond me. If you have ever seen a map of europe of any kind, the only question here would be if you would miss france and hit spain or not. Because on the map its a bit hazey if its a milimeter left or right, but since we know maps are usually warped, actually sailing straight south should lean toward left (spain) more. So I would have said spain, but I wouldnt be 100% sure. If she said France, that would be completely understandable, but morocco? What are you even doing on a quiz?
Reaching Morocco is always impossible if you sail from England and keep straight on

Hi Mom
Not the same anymore without Chris.
Out of all the seven that were shown, I got 4/6 correct. I had to rule out that Spain one, since I already saw that video, once.

@@Porko023 Are you that dense that you stopped reading his comment half way through?
Got em all, not hard though obviously
Everyone in the comments thinking they're smart because they would've got the Morocco question right, Just count yourself lucky that you get to spend 6 hours looking at a map of that exact plot of land on the plane journey to benidorm with your criminally overweight parents/kids before eating out at whatever all-inclusive ex-Thomas Cook resort that will accept you and your grummy family...
It's not the fact that she didn't get Spain, it's the fact she reckoned you could sail due south of Cornwall, skim right past Spain and Portugal and somehow reach Morocco.
Instead of the thanksgiving question for USA, should of been Canada, as we have it in October
