I should never have doubted his misdirection skills. Choosing to give her leadership was calculated.
Yeah unless good does silly tactics (like the search for evil), the magic gives good a really strong chance to build a voting bloc. The first success is guaranteed whoever isn't magicked isn't going to put in a fail anyway unless they have to. Good as a team is basically just searching for no more than 2 potential evils for the 4th quest (so they can magic one), and likely already having 2 successes by that point from the freebie and 1 of the 2 other quests just by chance. Once evil crosses the hump of Quest 4 though victory I think swings back into their odds.
This game seems heavily stacked against bad guys. Good guys insta win if there are 3 missions won. Good guys still have a chance to win if 3 missions failed. Good guys automatically have a Hunter if they lose. Better yet, they all become Hunters that is not restricted by guessing correct roles. In this group Blind Hunter has 33% chance to outright lose a game if he guesses one of the bad guys. Blind Hunter CAN'T hunt if good guys win. Which is outright stupid. This way there is no way for bad guys to have a chance of winning. Blind Hunter have to hunt only when bad guys already winning. He has to guess EXACT roles of two good guys. So it means there is NO point in using Blind Hunters ability at all if don't know EXACTLY roles of the good guys. Blind Hunter is literally garbage role that only ruins the game for bad guys, while somewhat restricting good guys's investigation roles from telling the info. I think to make this game a bit more fair Blind Hunter should be just Hunter, he could see his companions and hunt when the good guys have won on the missions. Edit 10 months later: Yeah, Changeling also should know who are the other bad guys as he is just hindrance to the team early game. He can change shape, he still has eyes.

The other two wouldn't have had a clue
Does anyone else notice that the first piece of audio on the board game club episodes is EXTREMELY loud? It scares me every time I watch one of these lol.
He didn’t make it obvious that after the blind hunter they wouldn’t go into the pointing session, I think that Brooke wouldn’t have called yes if she knew
59:13 The Blind Hunter has to point out the Cleric first in order of priority. So the rules were not explained well to Brooke. Secondly, the Duke does not need to be named specifically - he's treated as a regular goodie. Did I recall it right? Only played this game once and the rest of the time I re-read the rules.
Is the evil team unbalance or something? This feel like the evil team especially with the changing have a hard time to win compare to good team. Anyone know was there a better evil team to make it more of a balance game? At least for the first game. 2nd game seems slightly more balance but also more complicated Just got to the end of 2nd game. The blind hunter should not come out, also I feel like the blind hunter and good have to guess at the same time to Be fair. I also thought that the trouble maker has to lie about loyalty which includes when they check others, either I understand wrongly or the trouble maker didn't do it. Spoiler abit 3rd game, y didn't the bad guys get a last chance???? Also Brook misplayed so hard. Aot least magic herself or throw suspicion to someone else like Laurie as Morgan.
This was a lot of fun but another game that is very difficult to win as evil especially with 7 players. Adam gets 3 wins. Next is Werewords and probably 6 more chances to win.

these games seem so hard for the evil teams to win
but got are they fun to watch
And on today's episode of "Sully, are you evil?"
Hopefully not to jinx a recording session that has already happened but man, Adam is on a hotstreak.
28:36 Was that a Rage Against the Machine reference? Nice
20:45 - The Queen of Kings returns, complete with hand gestures!
Poor Tilly and her brutal AP
17:34 Whatcha gonna do. Whatcha gonna do when they come for you...
Shuffle those cards poor Sully XD
Holly. The shoes. Need to see more.
Join us next week on board game club where we play Snap!
How do you think this compares to it's predecessor, Avalon?
If you don't get enough wins, four words:
Insane. Monopoly. Pyramid. Scheme.
Is the evil team unbalance or something? This feel like the evil team especially with the changing have a hard time to win compare to good team.
Anyone know was there a better evil team to make it more of a balance game? At least for the first game.
2nd game seems slightly more balance but also more complicated
Just got to the end of 2nd game. The blind hunter should not come out, also I feel like the blind hunter and good have to guess at the same time to Be fair. I also thought that the trouble maker has to lie about loyalty which includes when they check others, either I understand wrongly or the trouble maker didn't do it.
Spoiler abit
3rd game, y didn't the bad guys get a last chance???? Also Brook misplayed so hard. Aot least magic herself or throw suspicion to someone else like Laurie as Morgan.
This was a lot of fun but another game that is very difficult to win as evil especially with 7 players. Adam gets 3 wins. Next is Werewords and probably 6 more chances to win.
Laurie has to be the MVP of this game , solved the last 2 games on his own. Play BoTC again Laurels. Tilly being the captain got 4/4 both times 🎉
