am Aware there is NO Sectional Cut-Off For Tier 1 but Need to Score Big to go to Tier 2
]Now For Tier 2 - There's is No specification in the Notification that there is sectional Cut -Off
( Resolution Of TIe Cases is Mentioned)
Just Wanted to Know For Example
I Qualified Tier 1
For Tier 2- Paper 1 ( Qaunts + Reasoning) - I got 120/180
Then Paper 2 - Eng+GA - I got 195/210
Total = 120+195 = 315 - Will I Not get any Post (assuming I Qualified DEST as well)

hello,
As you know tier 1 is just qualifying, you need to get the minimum cutoff marks to write mains i.e. tier 2.This cut off depends on various factors like vacancies, exam difficulty level etc.
In case of tier 2, as there is no sectional cut off the total marks you score out of 390 will be considered for final selection. I you score 210 /210 and 100 /180 is same as 150/210 and 160/180...
we cant say if you get 315 you will get the job. Its all depend on the number of vacancies, how others are scoring and the difficulty level.. So bear in mind the fact: If you need the job you need to beat the competition i.e. try to get more marks than the others.. its as simple as that.. Those methods are shared in this channel..

In Your Above Reply & Even am Aware that Tier 1 is Qualifying and Need to get the Cut Off SSC Decide's - In reference to Tier 1 - Suppose I get 45 in Eng, 40 in GA -45 in Reasoning & 30 in Quant's .- Total = 160
If SSC spcecified Cut-Off is 152 & since I got 160 - am Qualified?
For Tier 2 - If I got 130/180 in Paper 1 & 210/210 ( Just a Assumption Or god Willing I Score good 🙂) so Total - 340
is it 340/390 Or 340 /450 ?
and Will i Qualify since I got 340 If SSC Specified For B06 UR - Cut Off - 321 ??
