I'm watching these and I'm tearing up because I know that Siskel and Ebert belong to another time. I've always said Ebert was the last of his kind and when he dies, criticism will suffer greatly and possibly just fade away. I love watching these reviews and I know that the studios will not permit 2 people to have that much power and even now we have "consensus criticism" on Rotten tomatoes where people like A.O Scott and Richard Roeper are lumped in with Joe from his mothers basement. RIP Gene and Roger, you were great! I hope there are more of these
I have been enjoying all of these Siskel, Ebert and Roeper videos very much. Thank you so much for putting these out, it's entertaining and funny and fun to watch.
There's nothing better than the Gene-Roger team up. Both of them are so quick-witted and so fast with a comeback. They just had perfect complementary chemistry. Often imitated, never duplicated.
I LOVED Wilonsky and Phillips as Guest hosts with Roeper. Why they didn't give the show to them and NOT to Lyons and Mankewitcz. But when they brought in Scott and Phillips, I started watching again.
I'm not sure if there's a 14 (please tell me), but I've watched all of these videos, because I used to just sit and watch all these reviews, ANYWAY! Wonderful job covering all stages of the show. My question--aside from any new videos--are you going to cover the 4th era of "At the Movies"? (No, I don't mean the "Ben & Ben" era...after that. Thank God.)
"Goya's Ghosts"? What happened to the creator of the classic "Amadeus", not to mention "Cuckoo's Nest", "Hair", and "Ragtime"? Well, even the best will have an off day. RIP, Milos Forman. With the old "Sneak Previews" now available on IMDB.com, prehaps you can make more of these compilations.
I don't know that you haven't already used this one, but Sweet November has some hilarious stuff between Ebert and Roeper include Richard saying he want's a gay best friend neighbor ahaha.
The only good thing about London was the sex scene where Jessica Biel goes down on Chris Evans as he finishes. That's basically the highlight of her career, a sentence of dirty talk.
I do like the music that you play, but I suggest choosing something that isnt midi and can become annoying in the background. your first few movies had really good music, and I really liked the super mario world and zelda music. but it has to be a classic that people recognize and doesnt have harsh noises thoughout the midpoints
He is wrong about not being able to talk after snorting cocaine and drinking. you can drink like a fish on coke, and it doesnt seem to effect you that much

Oh God yes, London might be the most irritating film i've ever seen. Just the most annoying characters ever. You actually end hoping for a bad ending and they all living long miserable lives.
"Chris Evans, you remember him from the Fantastic Four-"
"No I don't."
Roger is the best.
Hard to believe both Siskel and Ebert are now gone. I miss them.

With RottenTomatoes, you're better off doing the opoosite of what they tell you to do. Seriously.
I love it when Ebert gets mad - he looks like an irate owl.
I have been enjoying all of these Siskel, Ebert and Roeper videos very much. Thank you so much for putting these out, it's entertaining and funny and fun to watch.
Fuck, that was all 13 parts again? I love this series and I miss both Siskel and Ebert.
There's nothing better than the Gene-Roger team up. Both of them are so quick-witted and so fast with a comeback. They just had perfect complementary chemistry. Often imitated, never duplicated.
"You remember me from the Fantastic Four."
"No, I don't"
Great put down!
boy, roeper was prophetic with his nic cage hair comment.
Lolled hard
Roeper: Chris Evans, remember him from the Fantastic Four...
Ebert: No, I don't!
part 14!
Oh, man. If Ebert thought Gone in Sixty Seconds was bad, I wonder what he would think about Nic Cage movies now. LOL!
“Chris Evans, remember him from the Fantastic Four movies?”
“No I don’t”
DAMN ROBERT
Robert???
“Robert”
Totally wrong, but it still works.
@@LampwicksCigar Ro-ger E-bert, he was just saying it/typing it really fast. :)
"by the way, she's pregnant" WHAT?!?
I wish you can do more of these cause they are so awesome to watch.
All joking aside, that could definitely be a good new rating system: "How far would you walk to see this film".
Keep going with the numbers.
What about Titanic? JACK!...ROSE!...JACK!...ROSE!...YOU CAN DO IT ROSE!
love love love the clips. could do without the background music, tho
Fun Times x 2! These made my day. Thanks!
I love how all of these videos are underscored with video game music :)
It's been almost a year since this was posted. I hope you don't give up on these, because they're great.
That music takes me back... one of the most beautiful levels in video games
Which Sonic game is it from again?

So soapy, I actually used the second half to do my laundry ... LOL!
good work! your videos are an inspiration to us all!
Are you planning on doing a fourteenth one of these?
I LOVED Wilonsky and Phillips as Guest hosts with Roeper. Why they didn't give the show to them and NOT to Lyons and Mankewitcz. But when they brought in Scott and Phillips, I started watching again.
thanx for not having your background music too loud this time!

Funnily enough, both of those movies feature Anthony Zerbe
@TheFandango19 Kirstie, Tiffany, Tiffany, Kirstie! LOL
I really wish the bald guy would become a new host he always gives great reviews of the movies in my opinion at least and hes funny as hell
Will there be anymore of these? These are great!
"She's suspected of being Jewish because she won't eat what appears to be broiled pig fetus...and who would?" CLASSIC
"13 feels bloated to me because..."
...it's over 10 minutes long.
Wilonsky and Roeper had good chemistry, I wish they made him full time...
+Cinema Insiders Yeah, I think it would've been better to keep Roeper with Michael Phillips actually, or AO Scott. But they blew it with the Bens.
sha11235 mankewitz was ok, didn’t have much personality though. Lyons however was a garbage critic
love the clips what's up with the annoying digital sounds in the background?
These three guys really make filmcritisism look fun.
speed zone! is a must if you haven't used it already.
Great reviews. You should also check out their reviews for "Shadow Conspiracy" and the most patently absurd film of its time, "Good Luck".
Keep making more!
Bring out a Fun Times 14!!!! :D
if you did all those drug-related things that Roger described in the way and order he described them...you'd be dead!

I love the music
I don't know that you haven't already used this one, but Sweet November has some hilarious stuff between Ebert and Roeper include Richard saying he want's a gay best friend neighbor ahaha.
Roeper is SO RIGHT about London
I'd actually be interested to see an Adam Sandler movie directed by Milos Forman.
The only good thing about London was the sex scene where Jessica Biel goes down on Chris Evans as he finishes. That's basically the highlight of her career, a sentence of dirty talk.
I can't remember all the movies you have used but If you haven't, try Dutch, Date with an angel and Black Widow
Where's Baby Day Out?
Wilonsky is a robot....
Manhattan Murder Mystery
*raises hand*
Yes, I liked Hellraiser II
It's the best of the Hellraiser sequels by far.
Thanks for this! I always watched these shows since 1977. Please remove the background music though.
for the music put the mario music in and make it a bit louder. It's way funnier with that music.
Funny About Love is good.

Ye gods, but that movie was trash though.
Oh God yes, London might be the most irritating film i've ever seen. Just the most annoying characters ever. You actually end hoping for a bad ending and they all living long miserable lives.
Couldn't watch because of the annoying music. Great idea.. Play music so it distracts you from the content you want to hear.
Am I the only one that thinks Natalie Portman can not act at all?
Hellraiser 2 sucks.
