Great video 👍👍. I want to understand the calculation done to find the resistors required in this circuit. Also what is the purpose of 1.5k resistor if the current will directly flow to the gpio pin?
Essentially, we don't want input pin to have get more than 3.3 as signal voltage, hence a voltage divider is created generating not more than 3 volt when 5 v echo signal comes from ultrasonic sensoe
Thanks for the great video with very clear explanation. Exactly what I needed to start off my project. I need to use IoT to display the sensor value on a web app. Do you have any advice for doing that?
Sir nice explanation but I am having an issue that when I connect vcc and gnd pins with raspberry pi it gets off and lights in raspberry pi gets dim what to do pls help
I am having importError stating that my device doesn’t have RPi.GPIO module. I have used sude apt-get -y install python-rpi.gpio. But it’s not solving the error.
Great Video Today I Have Lab Exam .Mam told that Ultra Sonic Sensor Is Common Question It Helped me Today
please visit our website for free online course www.kitflix.com/course
this video make me understand clearly on using an ultrasonic sensor with raspberry>>>
thank you for this video.
Glad it helped Phan
Please consider buying full course at kitflix.com

Great work and such an amazing explanation in the code.👍
Glad you liked it :) :)
Thanks for your clean and clear explanation sir
You are welcome
Amazing..Thanks a lot..Plz make a video on how to interface current sensor with Raspberry Pi
Sure,
it'll need external ADC as RPi Don't have one, but we'll try for sure

Great to hear and am glad it helped :)
very well explained, good job (even me I understood :) )
Thanks :)
great tutorial i ever found, 👌🤘
Thank you.. Glad it helps.. 🙂
Sir nice explanation but I am having an issue that when I connect vcc and gnd pins with raspberry pi it gets off and lights in raspberry pi gets dim what to do pls help
please check pinout of ultrasonic sensor if LED gets off may be sensor damage buy new one and check proper Vcc and Ground pin on 5v
can you please do a video on grove ultrasonic ranger with raspberrypi
I don't have that sensor, but will try to grab and make one :)
Great Work sir and very Well Explained Thanks!
Sir the way you explained everything is so Amazing!!
I would like to react ❤️ on this video but unfortunately we only have 👍
Thank you 😊
Hi please how we can concept out circuit and is this applicable in proteus ? thank you so much
Am not sure as I haven't used proteus in long time :/
Sir , i need an help could you please suggest any idea of connecting this ultrasonic sensor to raspberry pi wirelessly..
Sure
Can u contact me on Amit at kitflix dot com?
Nicely explained
Thank you :)
Please consider buying full course at kitflix.com
well for me its stuck on waiting for sensor to settle
Meaning connection is not done properly or something wrong on sensor
Sir I did the same as instructed by you but it is showing an attribute error ( float has no attribute pulse_start ) what to do pls help
I am having importError stating that my device doesn’t have RPi.GPIO module. I have used sude apt-get -y install python-rpi.gpio. But it’s not solving the error.
Hi, please send me a whatsapp with error screenshot on 919404865609
What to if it doesn't show the correct distance
For me it's 1211 and only decimal point change y?
can you post your code? there has to be some small mistake
sir i've use the same code but it is giving me error
TypeError: 'float' object is not callable
please anyone help
Hi, Will this work on a Raspberry Pi 1B
yes, it will
@@Kitflix Thanks, I get really odd numbers coming back from the code that do not relate to the distance.
sir can you please tell that how can we simulate it online
Simulating raspberry Pi is not possible yet :(
Why duration is multiplied with 17150
Hi, it's explained in video, half of speed of sound ( because we cover double distance)
@@Kitflix thank you😄
I used this one.
Glad it helps you.. 😀
sir i've use the same code but it is giving me error
TypeError: 'float' object is not callable
please anyone help
