About four years ago, I flew my drone in a “no drone” area inside a national park. Later that night, I had park rangers at my campsite, who gave me a $227.00 summons. Does anyone believe you can fly aircraft, the size of a small car, around a U.S. Airforce base on a regular basis and the federal government won’t know who you are? Try flying a small commercial drone around an airforce base and see what happens.
It would be a reasonable strategy of the operators to mimick the appearance of human craft. This would prevent us from freaking out about a UFO invasion while at the same time allowing them to massively increase their presence in our airspace. And the current situation shows it is working really well.
Can’t find whoever are flying them over Langley Air Force Base in Virginia either. Last count it was over 17 days straight. They flew at night. They may still be flying who knows no one‘s reporting now.

The fact that they're not being a shot at or even attempted to be taken down leaves me to believe that this is our technology being tested that is all. There is no way we would not shoot at these things if they weren't ours.

I think it depends on how the drones were program to be not tracked, these drones are bigger than the average drones with more advance techonoly than we ever could imagine is my guess, I would love to see these drones myself in person, if anyone has a good digital camera or one those digital with automatic tracking telescope, zoom in on the drone to see if there is a number on the side or underside of the drone. If there is then your question has been answered how to track these drones down.
This. This is what I can't understand. Any radio signal like this can be observed and triangulated. I find it completely unbelievable that they can't a) determine anything about the drones b) trace the drones to wherever they're landing - because they can't stay up weeks at a time c) intercept the drones. What I find really creepy it that even before all of this happened. I remember having a dream about these these craft in the sky that at first glance looked and sounded like planes, but were actually alien craft (that's the only difference here). When they stopped, the engine sound stopped humming and the lights stopped flashing, it became stationary and whizzed off. And now we have this!! Crazy

Hard to say if the red lights are being used for some kind of imaging etc. whoever is controlling them could be wanting to track the drone location with something other than GPS as well. It think it has to be to draw attention. If we're talking about advanced technology then whomever is operating them surely has access to the internet and know by now that people are documenting them and are showing interest, even if they have to read a Russian translation. Why doesn't the military shoot it down? Maybe they're studying them. Shooting them down would destroy them, limiting what could be studied. Remember the spy balloon that was shot down in February of last year? They waited until the balloons were over water so they could study it better and were not in any hurry to shoot it down.
There are so many odd aspects to this story. Why would a covert drone pilot have the marker lights on during a flight? The reports say that the drones "go dark" when approached but why wouldn't they be dark during the entire flight? It seems obvious that the intention is to be seen by the public for whatever reason.
Similar drones have been sighted around US Airbases in the UK over the past few weeks or months and they have also been quite happy with being seen but remain somehow unidentified. Distraction or something more directly threatening? Who knows.

I believe an Alaska Airlines pilot also confirmed sighting to the ATC. They even called out a Coast Guard chopper. YT has the ATC audio but it’s not letting me link

They show an officer launching a drone, but they don't keep the camera rolling to demonstrate their effort to chase one down. How is there not a video showing a failed chase? No they wouldn’t catch them. Fpv drones run out of batteries in 4-15 minutes with lipos depending on size. With lithium ion you get around 30-40 minutes but have a lower amp draw so slower speeds. These drones are fast and stay up for hours so an fpv is not catching them.

The Governments probably the ones doing this. Testing new drone technology, the publics responses and local response times from authorities. In the case of a foreign country flying their drones in the US airspace they would want to know these things and how effectively the system works.

I'm been going through this for about a year now. I'm next to Warner robins airforce base. These things have sat in the same spot at the same time every night ! I have no clue what they are doing , but it creeps me out alittle. I've said the exact same thing this guy said. They can't be civilian because our drones can stay in the air all night. I'm baffled !

That's just false. There are hobbyists making drones which fly 24 hours. Recharge by solar during the day. They're more like flying wings to get that duration, but point is.. "Citizen's" are often ahead of the government in this area. Mine will do laser scanning, so I can fly at night w/ no vision. (I have it for scanning buildings to make 3d models, but.. I could use it to fly w/ zero visibility). I have a star vision camera.. If there are stars in the sky at night.. not even the moon, I can see clear as day (in black and white). I can program autonomous missions, so I can have it flying in radio silence. It's quite small and undetectable. Anyone willing to do a little research can build one. And, I've been out of the hobby for about 5 years. People are building things much more advanced than that now. What's insane is that the government is pretending to not know more about them. Because, I could fly my drone up to look at it. My drone could track it via lidar even after it goes dark. And my drone is a 5 year old DIY hobby drone.

Assuming you are really an expert, then you need to read a bit more of what is going on (in terms of official responses and actions) and you will find out that these "drones" are able to EVADE the official Gov/Local drones. That knowledge of night vision and tracking is not exclusive to just a few people. The telling report is one where the Sheriff found himself above ones of these (he was in a helicopter)... he "let it go" because he felt "unsafe". There is something else going on where one party is trying to supress information and the other party is trying to force a reality through visibility.

They are drone like. When you send up a drone to investigate, you lose power and the drone drops out of the sky. They are too big to be drones, they hover too long for normal battery life, they move too fast, when approached by military they go dark and disappear. They are very bright. Too many variables

Nothing here in Massachusetts.. but I will say two years ago in the summer in the early morning I saw what looked like a black triangle flying not a sound just went straight up.
Here in Southern California we have the largest Drone Flying Club located in or near Santee, or Powway, I watch them in the evenings while they are doing their formations and stunts, however I never seen drones the size of a small SUV before, there are usually up to 80 or more drones flying all at once. In other news in regarding to the NJ Drones I bet Trump knows something about those.

I don't think it is a a UAP but given the capabilities and technology of a UAP, it certainly seems possible they could be impersonating a drone. If these things were not making any noise, then people would be freaking out. The vast majority of people just assume these are drones.

Also there have been other incidents in the past few years in states such as California and Nevada where unidentified drones flew over military installations. Also, this has recently taken place in Great Britain over US or joint air force bases there. This is a WAY bigger issue than just what we are hearing about in NJ and NY.

@ I think some part of our government is sending a message to our adversaries. And, no military base is going to show much information that isn’t seen by Satellites 🛰️ imagery and detection systems. Drone warfare is the next frontier and we’re seeing it in Ukraine, think of the cost of one F35 is 80 to 100M to build let alone the maintenance cost. So, how does the military solve the problem of blowing up drones that cost probably less than 100K with expensive missiles? It seems to me you build different prototypes and study how each could be used against you and what systems might you use to combat them cost effectively. In history, those that can produce and make things usually win a war so we need to think about that along with how can we stop fighting wars costing so much with so little outcome then defend against the next frontier - drones, AI, etc.
There are 2 distinct types of these flying craft that people are seeing. Some are CLEARLY some sort of military/DOD drone - they have white and red lights, flashing strobe, about the size of a car, and make a LOT of noise - sounds like turbine engine from the eye witness videos. Others are these chameleon colored iridescent orbs or the orb with 2 wheels rotating within. Here is my theory: The Govt either knew in advance or is reacting to increased activity of ACTUAL UFO's (the orbs) - and are trying to conflate/mask the presence of these by sending up their own advanced drones - making sure the public is seeing them. Cause they know they cannot keep the public from seeing the real ones, but they can put up their own to distract/mask what’s really going on.
I have no doubt you could be correct. Remember they did the same thing for the famous Phoenix Lights incident in 1997. In order to try to hide legit UFO sightings, they deliberately sent out planes flying in formation to try to mimic.

There are several private aerospace companies in the state of NJ. Just look at their websites to see the different types of experimental drones and aircraft they are developing. First of all, There are small versions of Area 51 all over the U.S and the rest of the world. Testing sites for these privately owned aerospace companies that contract out to the military are big business right now. Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles (UAV's) are the priority. But, if you Google them, they have websites that will tell you what they're working on. As for testing over civilians, the government/military has a long history of secretly testing on/over civilians. Not a conspiracy theory, it's documented history. They don't care what we think.

What I find really creepy it that even before all of this happened. I remember having a dream about these these craft in the sky that at first glance looked and sounded like planes, but were actually alien craft (that's the only difference here). When they stopped, the engine sound stopped humming and the lights stopped flashing, it became stationary and whizzed off. And now we have this!! Crazy

No they wouldn’t catch them. Fpv drones run out of batteries in 4-15 minutes with lipos depending on size. With lithium ion you get around 30-40 minutes but have a lower amp draw so slower speeds. These drones are fast and stay up for hours so an fpv is not catching them.

That's just false. There are hobbyists making drones which fly 24 hours. Recharge by solar during the day. They're more like flying wings to get that duration, but point is.. "Citizen's" are often ahead of the government in this area. Mine will do laser scanning, so I can fly at night w/ no vision. (I have it for scanning buildings to make 3d models, but.. I could use it to fly w/ zero visibility). I have a star vision camera.. If there are stars in the sky at night.. not even the moon, I can see clear as day (in black and white). I can program autonomous missions, so I can have it flying in radio silence. It's quite small and undetectable. Anyone willing to do a little research can build one. And, I've been out of the hobby for about 5 years. People are building things much more advanced than that now. What's insane is that the government is pretending to not know more about them. Because, I could fly my drone up to look at it. My drone could track it via lidar even after it goes dark. And my drone is a 5 year old DIY hobby drone.

Assuming you are really an expert, then you need to read a bit more of what is going on (in terms of official responses and actions) and you will find out that these "drones" are able to EVADE the official Gov/Local drones. That knowledge of night vision and tracking is not exclusive to just a few people. The telling report is one where the Sheriff found himself above ones of these (he was in a helicopter)... he "let it go" because he felt "unsafe". There is something else going on where one party is trying to supress information and the other party is trying to force a reality through visibility.

Here in Southern California we have the largest Drone Flying Club located in or near Santee, or Powway, I watch them in the evenings while they are doing their formations and stunts, however I never seen drones the size of a small SUV before, there are usually up to 80 or more drones flying all at once. Also there have been other incidents in the past few years in states such as California and Nevada where unidentified drones flew over military installations. There are 2 distinct types of these flying craft that people are seeing. Some are CLEARLY some sort of military/DOD drone - they have white and red lights, flashing strobe, about the size of a car, and make a LOT of noise - sounds like turbine engine from the eye witness videos. Here is my theory: The Govt either knew in advance or is reacting to increased activity of ACTUAL UFO's (the orbs) - and are trying to conflate/mask the presence of these by sending up their own advanced drones - making sure the public is seeing them. Cause they know they cannot keep the public from seeing the real ones, but they can put up their own to distract/mask what’s really going on.

I have no doubt you could be correct. Remember they did the same thing for the famous Phoenix Lights incident in 1997. In order to try to hide legit UFO sightings, they deliberately sent out planes flying in formation to try to mimic.

Chances are all this stuff was there before and now the hysteria is making more uninformed people look up. It isn't like this isn't some of the busiest airspace in the nation.

My son has a commercial drone license, actually had to take FAA test for it; flying is highly regulated, and there is an app that tells you where you can't fly and at what altitude in other areas. Our military should be all over this, unless it's them. If this were foreign jets they'd be all over them, what's the difference. C'mon, knock one or all of them out of the sky and find out.....they don't want to.

There are several private aerospace companies in the state of NJ. Just look at their websites to see the different types of experimental drones and aircraft they are developing. The reason they test their craft so blatantly against the rules and get away with it is because they're often contracted to the military. They don't have to care what anybody thinks.
Why would the military test new technology over civilian areas? That just doesn't make sense 🤷

First of all, There are small versions of Area 51 all over the U.S and the rest of the world. Testing sites for these privately owned aerospace companies that contract out to the military are big business right now. Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles (UAV's) are the priority. But, if you Google them, they have websites that will tell you what they're working on. As for testing over civilians, the government/military has a long history of secretly testing on/over civilians. Not a conspiracy theory, it's documented history. They don't care what we think.
