The whirling sounds of soothing melodies warm my heart and loosen my feet until I swing into a state of unspeakable trance. Sounds so powerful I can feel the sun shining brighter in the summer sky. An overwhelming surge of intense emotions that I cannot explain but only felt. A whole new horizon opening in front of me. A beautiful rare gem these days.

On a different level that we here can all understand; it's about embracing the realities of life, the sadness of life, the depression of life, and knowing that even in that, we can find our own joy within our minds of solitude. And the music puts us in a cold, but definitely atmospheric and warm peace of mind.

Já faz um ano que escuto esse álbum e ele continua a me trazer o mesmo sentimento, uma descida gradual, que vai se intensificado até chegar em The Transcendence of the Past Centuries, quando consigo sentir tocar o fundo do abismo, aí que me encontro, sento, deito e rolo, enquanto minha carne é devorada pelos aspectos sombrios do estado de introspecção profunda.
Esse álbum acompanhou meu episódio depressivo no ano passado.

Esta música es como esos sueños en los que tienes una sensación agradable de caída libre al infinito, continua y relajante.
Y lo mejor es que se aleja del clásico sonido del black metal en donde la guitarra está desfasada y no se entiende ni mierda que notas están tocando, se escucha más nítido y con muy buenas armonías..

The feeling this album and ataraxia leaves is incredible. Ataraxia took this sound and made it 10x better, however, this album was that which sparked the interest. So, I often find myself coming back to that old feeling it had me under that most blackgaze bands don't have me sickin with. It's an invegorating sound, a healthy sound for the soul. As much as it this band sounds meloncholic and strives for it, though not in a depressing way. It just is joyously-sad.

For every good album within the black metal universe (add to that every conceivable sub-genre of bm) there’s 50 mediocre releases or more; this is not only an example of a good album but after a few listens I’m thinking a great one. It can be overwhelming to try to keep up with said universe ~ not the case a few decades past, but now a laptop & bedroom can yield an ocean of projects alone. Thank you for sharing, I’m absolutely going to go check their BC now 🤟
This is an awesome album. One of those that you just can’t forget. The album cover immediately drew me in it is probably one of my favorite covers. The title of the album also really inspires. Everything is balanced just right. Incredible

Just with Prologue this gave me vibes of my teenage years while looking at the girls picture and her expression. I can't get enough of this existential gaze from her, who is this girl!? Nostalgic. Kind of realized I'm getting older...
This girl is Yvonne Apol, born in 1940, she do have a website but I don't know if she is aware of this album and willing to sign it

The "Eternal joy on the mountain of lonelyness" firstly reminded me of Nietzsche's philosophy, and somehow, the music itself gives the feeling what Zarathustra can feel on the top of the hill. Anyway, It's amazing music, I think they become one of my best bands! And that catarsis, when I heard the hungarian words......

Natrafil som na vás čistou náhodou. Keby mi to YT nevyhodí tak by som možno nikdy nevedel že aj Slováci vedia hrať kvalitnú muziku čo sa týka black metal-u. Chlapi toto má šmrnc. Má to rytmus, dynamiku, je to melodické ale hlavne má to veľký potenciál. Neviem či ešte fungujete ale bolo by škoda zahodiť takú tvorbu. Takáto dobrá muzika by sa mala šíriť vetrom do sveta a hlavne na sever :) Len tak ďalej určite pokračujte! \m/

I'm surprised by how the vocals actually work with the music
Oh to howl and growl in key. It takes a bit of talent to do it. It is easy to throw out your voice while trying because of the over extending of the vocal chords. That is why some bands change the vocal style. Like Katatonia for example.

@@dasrostkehlchen6942 echt? Nach deinem Komentar hab ich mir Agathodaimon noch mal angehört....in kleinen Anklängen kann ich das nachvollziehen. Aber vom ersten drüberhören möchte ich das kaum behaupten. Weches Album meinst du speziell?

@@dasrostkehlchen6942 Ich bin beide Alben noch einmal durchgegangen. Für "damalige" Zeiten war Blacken.. ein Meisterstück, und ist es immer noch. Was mir auffiel: Esse est percipi ist eingängiger, fast poppig durch die Tremolopassagen. Von daher fast ein Pop Album, wäre da nicht die kälte und growl Gesang. Ich bin mir "fast" sicher, das ist schon Radiotauglich und würde in manchen Senderahmen zwar reinpassen, aber durch angesprochene Merkmale auffallen, bzw durch die Texte durchfallen. Jedoch bin ich mir auch sicher, es gäbe viele die aufhorchen täten. Das ist der Unterschied zu Blacken.....das ist nicht so eingängig. Aber das ist meine Meinung.
@@kerusss Da gebe ich Dir auch recht. Manche Stücke könnten durchaus im Radio laufen,zumindest bei den Sendern die es krachen lassen. Leider läuft noch immer zuviel mainstream. Das ist in Skandinavien wesentlich besser.
