the best dog I ever had was a Ragdoll cat. She was perfect in every way you could hope a pet would ever be.

@@manan-543 Cats can learn to play fetch, actually! Many cats love to play fetch with little toys and balls.
My sister’s rag doll was my favourite kitty ever. He was so patient and affectionate. Would head butt me with love. I was so heart broken when he went missing. I saw a couple with a rag doll kitty at the Buddhist temple today. Got to pet her that was so cute they took her on a field trip

I have always had cats my whole life. Ragdolls are the most affectate and borderline stalking cat. I highly recommend them for families and elderly

Yes I HVe a 3months old ragdoll but he is the most behave and sweet...
Might I add, very polite and very patient! I have a 4 month old little boy and he is very polite, sweet and calm.
I have seen plenty of videos of rag doll kittens going limp, but all kittens do that instinctively. I had always heard that rag doll cats were unique because they maintained that behavior as adult. It took me a while to find a video with an adult of the breed, and then I found yours and your demonstration of them retaining that behavior.
Those are some good cats right there.
Haha thank you for your comment, this made my day! They really are great cats for people looking for a docile breed. Every cat can be temperamental now and then but ragdolls are known for being sweet and calm.
We have a ragdoll and he is just the sweetest boy. He still fights us a bit when we have to give him medication but all he does is struggle a bit, no hissing no scratching and no biting. Compared to most cats he's a dream to work with when necessary and he's a total cuddlebug the rest of the time.
sad part is the don't really fight back they just flop so people are trying to breed that out of ragdolls
Fun fact: Ragdolls are the 2nd largest cat breed w/ the 1st being Maine Coons. 🐈🐾

I might be getting a ragdoll and I heard about how there’s the different fur patterns and colours (for example: a “lilac van”) anyways does anyone know what those two would be called? I’m guessing the white one is a cream bicolour? But what is the other one?

Ii adopted, well actually she adopted me a 10 yr old raggie from the shelter. All the owners did is breed her over and over.i named her mama and told her this is your new life and all i want is for you 2 do is b happy I had her until she was 17 lost her due to renal failure. A huge part of my heart is missing. They are just wonderful kitties

Absolutely adorable! My guess is to how they are that big would be (side note:im not a vet at all but i love animals and cats i have 3 myself ❤) one the sex of the cat in this case they are male and another thing that I would guess is a breed(s) and taking that general knowledge from their physical features(ex: coat color/pattern for specific breed(s) build “smush” face or long face)and personality (ex: cat breed X is more cuddly pet me love me and cat breed W is more independent playful curious cuddles when i want cuddles) for these handsome boys I would guess by looking at their physical features Ragdoll&Norwegian forest or Maine Coon

Aww I have a cream point ragdoll and I can say that she isn’t really the one that’s keen to be held for longer that a minute but all cats are different I guess!
In korea there is a funny way to describe these kinda cats....fur fat cats....meaning their full fur makes them look chubby

I've noticed that a lot of ragdolls seem on the larger end of cats. Ours is quite small compared to most I see online. We haven't noticed any health issues though, and he's getting quite old now but is doing fine, he's just small I guess. Or maybe some of the sub-breeds are smaller, I dunno.

Hi, we have an amazing Ragdoll cat named Momo we adopted, he has just one eye. He’s almost 4 and weighs around 14 or so pounds. I was always surprised by our vet telling us he should lose weight since Ragdolls are so much bigger than regular cats. We did get him an automatic feeder though and try to make sure he didn’t get too many treats.
Any input would be amazing, thank you!
Get a new vet pls. Male Ragdolls should be between 20 to 30 (max!) pounds. Females are much smaller. I found my as a stray he was skin and bones at 12 pounds. He's about 16 pounds now and still skinny but he's getting there. My other cat is 16 pounds also and she's a chub needing to lose weight.
Vets always deal with overweight (health problems) cats so you can understand their advice leaning on the safer side of underweight.

They don't mind. Dressed my 2nd one up. Played fetch. Loved her Jean jacket till she grew out of it. Maybe my baby lilac can wear it in a few months
