- This is a PF clear of P9S. Good on the group for sticking together and pushing through. Started as the only real "Post Limit Cut" party and stuck in til we were done.

Everytime I hear the line at 4:22 "For Lady Athena!" It always gets me so hyped for the rest of the fight! Reaching this point gives me chills every time!
Same bro same, I really like it when they talk together. Like "NOW FALL"
@@Number_135 YES!!! Just READING that has me so hyped!!! Really fun fight. I think SE did a really good job in making this tier super fun!
@@alsomestode4398 Yeah, fight is really cool, but sadly I have ptsd after Levinstrike summoning
@@Number_135 They weren't lying with the whole "You will suffer!" line! 🤣
That's what gets me so hyped though! A difficult mechanic that might kind of burn you out from wiping so many times, but then the boss immediately fires with "FOR LADY ATHENA!" the moment you clear it and it puts me in such an "Oh bring it on!" mindset 🤣
For people who may want to see a POV for certain mechanics:
0:05 Pull Start
0:25 *Ravening (Mage)*
0:45 Mage - Duality of Death [Double Tankbuster]
1:00 Mage - Dualspell
1:54 *Ravening (Martialist)*
2:13 Martialist - Ascendant Fist #1 [Tankbuster]
2:25 Martialist - Archaic Rockbreaker into in-then-out Front Combination
3:06 Martialist - Ascendant Fist #2 [Tankbuster]
3:29 *Ravening (Chimera 1)*
3:45 Chimera - Levinstrike Summoning / Scrambled Succession [also sometimes called "Limit Cut"]
_(Note: This video uses the "Krile"/"Mario Kart" strat, your group may vary)_
4:22 Chimera - Two Minds [end of Levinstrike]
4:50 *Ravening (Beast)*
5:04 Beast - Charybdis into Comet
5:17 Beast - Beastly Bile
5:25 Beast - Thunderbolt #1 _(DPS Bile 1, your group may vary)_
5:31 Beast - Thunderbolt #2 _(T/H Bile 2, your group may vary)_
5:39 Beast - Ecliptic Meteor
6:15 *Ravening (Chimera 2)*
6:33 Chimera - Duality of Death [Double Tankbuster]
6:42 Chimera - Archaic Rockbreaker with Dualspell
7:18 Chimera - Chimeric Succession [also sometimes called "Limit Cut 2"]
7:48 Chimera - Two Minds [end of Chimeric Succession]
*No more new mechanics past this point*
8:08 *Ravening (Mage 2)*
8:19 Mage - Dualspell
8:50 Fight End
Thanks man! I want to break into savage, and been meaning to find a good guide. Knowing what mechanics are what, and how they look will be helpful
oh, that fight looks _really_ cool. I was NOT expecting the mage-monk fusion thing.
Was scared for a minute it would combine all three lol
@@ladyellen7993 I wish it did 😁
It's bosses from The Crystal Tower raid.
it took me 17~ hours of lc trap parties before I finally got my clear because every time we started making progress, people had to leave and the party fell apart, oof. But onto the second fight and still week one, so that's progress.
Awesome stuff, grats on the clear, and good performance from everyone there. Best of luck on the rest of the tier!
I used this video in the PF group I cleared with to explain a mechanic or two, thank you!
Alber cleared that's great, I have to learn this for my static
Kokytos: Flames take you ehhh
*dead*
nice stuff you're a good player
7:40 Whoa, considering the firestrike is distance based damage, it's a miracle you survived that from this close o_o
It's distance based?!
@@WeskAlber Yup! Apparently, from other clear vids, the few guides out there and personnal experience, it's based on distance.
Also, I don't know if you knew, the players to get marked with numbers are the ones furthest away from the boss at the end of his cast of Chimeric Succession, so ideally, tanks and melee should get numbers, bring the boss as far as they can to an edge (typically north) and keep uptime, while healers and and range dps prepare to soak the firestrike on the opposite side (typically south) but not too close to the edge to leave room to orient the front/back cleave.
They lived because they had 5 in the stack, then the mnk died to defamation.
@@WeskAlberI am yoinking this accidental uptime strat you just found for my static
@@sejeo2
Edit: Nevermind, you're actually right... how the fuck did the monk get hit by Pyremeld?
Edit 2: I see it now.
No, it was only 4. They didn't die because they had 3 mitigations up (Temperance, Kerachole, Dark Missionary). Monk took damage because they got clipped by another Icemeld.
congrats
I still need to do that one
Gj !
Unsure whats going on at the 2nd LC mechanic, but not quite there yet anyway - gz on the clear!
From what I gather it seems to be a rubicante chain LC. But only 1-4
Evens go left
Odds go right
Every else stack close and avoid his frontal cleave
@@WiseFatOwl it's a bit spicier, the stack attack can have 2 different names, one with front, one with rear, and it's a tell to know which side he cleaves on his next kick attack, so you have to move inwards or outwards to make sure the cleave happens on the outside and doesnt kill everybody
@@TheEdenDi yeah that's one more thing which the tanks have to keep in mind while tanking
Sorry, why do i get only 3 coffers instead of 4? I've been searching for answer. Tq.
Are you clearing with someone who had already cleared for the week
@@WeskAlber haha my bad. I counted wrong.
Such a good run until that death. You were like an ilm too close 😩 Grats dude
No, I wasn't too close. The monk was dead
@@WeskAlber ah my mistake!
