I'm curious if any of these guys could ever compete in Icelandic Formula Offroad, I feel like some of these rigs and drivers would be quite competitive. I understand the difficulty in competing in another country but it would be really cool to see.

These things are stoopid badass...far cry from the homemade tube chassis and VW engine I had back in mid-eighties (and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the speed limit sign I used for a skid plate/floor in it).

At 14:21 is an example of engine torque twisting whole vehicle clockwise, from the drivers perspective, forcing the front right wheel back down, especially when turning right. I'm new to this and love it.

Search them online. There's some for sale under $50k. But you know most of these buggies in the videos competing have over 100k value in them.
There's an FB page for the sale/trade of buggies/chasis on the East Coast with a rig for sale for $16, 000.

I got a quote for a roller (no engine, trans, Tbox) 40k new from Busted Knuckle. The propulsion is where it will cost. If you're handy, get a used one. They are certainly tough.
I would like to know if these guys have helmet straps to keep there head from being slung around
helmet straps, hans device, containment seats, and firesuits.

@@BustedKnuckleVideo Hollingsworth and Tims moneymaker had it. And yeah a $40000 IFS is as durable as a $4000 Dana 60. Ieared that building my buggy out here in vegas. Basically I got more in the front end than whole car when you figure in breakage all these years trying IFS to stick..And I crawl compared to these dudes. Anyway I love all your videos keep up the promotion of this great sport!
