The front a passat, i don't think VW care much about Audi if you ask me. This car is going to crash into the Q5 sales without a doubt, it even has optional equipment not offered on the Q5 at all like night vision. Manufacturers need to learn how to separate various brands. Vw isn't a luxury brand compared to Audi but with this is there any point with the Q5?
The cockpit looks awesome, i like that the console is tilted towards the driver and not so super low down like in the audi A8. Now it only had to have good acustic isolation and good seats.

I love this SUV! It’s the only one that I’ve found where you can adjust the suspension when loading and unloading. This feature is invaluable! Love the exterior and interior. They done an outstanding job on this. My mother is short and she loves SUVS cuz she can slide in and out of them easily. She can’t reach all the way into the SUV to unload so this would be a big help. Thanks.
I'd say a serious competitor to German rivals (Q7, X5, GLE) but definitely not the Benteyga. That being said, VW really stepped up their game, that interior is gorgeous.

Those LED lights where there are lots of LEDs to make up the light are great when the car is new, but when individual LEDs fail the light unit looks crap and they are costly to replace

I don’t like how the front headlights have those little dots on the bottom. Would prefer just the top single LED strip. I wish the rear design was better... some angles it looks like a mini van. But, over all it definitely resembles the Q7. I don’t care much for the interior design. I also don’t care for the steering wheel design.. it’s just like all the other VWs... wish the steering wheel had a thicker grip to it. But overall looks like a stylish car. Hope they bring it to the USA.

Having owned several VWs, I can't complain about how they drive or their comfort, but as to their reliability.......hmmmm. I've found that more modest cars, less endowed with electronic gizmos and DSG type gearboxes tend to be more reliable.
I'd be interested to know how similar this genuinely is to the Bentayga and Q7. They will always be better don't get me wrong. But considering this is roughly half the Q7 and 1/4 of the Bentley (rough I know), it might be the best by far, especially when specced up with the V8 diesel and so on when you consider the price tag

Its what the rear of the Q5 should have been, much sleeker. Instead of the slab-sided design they went with.
