Burnley have a population of around 80,000 so do the maths ..we average 21000 fans at turf moor..better than a a quarter of the population actually supports the club ..which makes us THE BEST supported club in the uk per head of population...utc champions at deadwood 22-23 🏆

There is simply not even a discussion, Blackburn win in every single department by a country mile. Pretty stupid system to use IMO, things like social media following and crowd sizes these days mean a lot more than Prestons trophies won in the time of the dinosaurs with no crossbar. Blackpool are just much more well known across England than the Nobbers especially since they haven't even touched top flight football for 80 years. Also pretty unfair to say our 20 year average attendance is 8k due to a 5 year boycott of the club because of asset stripping rapist owners the Oystons. End of the day success and achievements have to be weighted more towards modern times as football as a sport in england has grown a lot since then. I don't deny we are smaller than both Burnley and Blackburn but to have us that far behind the Nobbers is a total joke.
