This game had so much potential. If they could have incorporated the story better it would have been a game of the generation. Just think about how much more successful this game as a whole would have been. We may never know , unless they change it in destiny 2. Until next time , commander Shepard out !
RoI proved what i was thinking all the time.. for the orginal story there would have been the need for multiple instances of the same environment in game existing at the same time.. the same as the cosmodrome as the plaguelands and the cosmodrome as the "normal" patrol area. and i think that there have been plenty more of the,.. but due to console restraints and memory problems the game could not handle this and the ps3 system could not rely on the stream mechanism to update the game as it goes.. so , 7 months prior o the reølease the developers moved the game to console and discovered that regardless what they will do, the game can not be released with that kind of story, the console would not be able to handle multiple instances of the same game on one consone since the console is also the server for the game. both consoles were just not able to host such a game. not on old gen. which was a requirement for the game to be sold massivly. i think thats the reason why all of that hurry was put in place to hac the story in small pieces and thats the reason why so little of it still makes sense.. also mz predictions have come true that we will see the first mission with the dead (greyed out ) fallen walker again.. and we did.. as the very first mission and now as the regular patrol area in RoI. TL:DR in the original story the world was changing as it does in the RoI and this wasnt doable with the old gen and the early PS4 versions (see GDC 2015 - destiny six years in the making) so they HAD to whack the story down.... Sadly with very little time to do so and this way the story ended up being some lose ends with no real connection between..

Just look at this for a moment. Think about real life, and how sad you'd be if one of your best friends died. Now look at the Iron Lords. They were friends for hundreds of years. Just think about how that'd feel. I honestly feel so bad for Lord Saladin, especially since there seemed to be a romantic relationship brewing between Lady Jolder and Lord Saladin (Reading the Iron Lord grimoire cards and watching this scene).

honestly destiny doesn't even need cut scenes....like I would still play it without cut scenes.
