As a 77yo trumpet player in a former concert band, watching this performance brought me to tears with their precision movements. What a beautiful sight to see and congratulations to all members of the this marvelous band.
The things this band can do is simply amazing and mesmerizing. When they're in the block formation, doubling back on themselves, it looks like they are no even moving. There is so much going on at one time, it's hard to watch everything.....as a marching band enthusist......I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
🏆🏆🏆🙏🇺🇲🇨🇱 So very proud of these extraordinary young people. NO other band, civilian nor military has such precision and perfection. God bless them all and watch over them 👍♥️
Pulling that "ATM" out of the block was masterful. I'm an ex-bandsman and every time I start to think "Well I mean these are all just complex follow the leader", then I see something like that...geez
For those who don't know, the 4-Way Cross maneuver that begins at 5:34 is theoretically impossible, as it requires two people to occupy the same space at the same time. Seeing is believing.
+perunaismymascot I'm pretty sure the same is true for the Minstrel Turns from 4:24 - 5:00 as the columns turn and cross over each other and band members place their feet on almost the same spot on the ground at the same time. Computers used to have a hard time with this (and maybe still do) because it required band members to occupy the same space at the same time in the program.
LOL! One can see, as they enter, they're all turning slightly to the left and right bumping into one another, and some almost falling, so theoretically they're not occupying the same space. Many are running forward so as not to run into anyone. Illusion is such a wonderful thing, and they do it so well.
I marched this back in the late 80's and early 90's. The center is absolute chaos. During practice, we were reminded over and over again that brass players had to hold their instruments away from their mouths to keep from getting teeth knocked out. There were still plenty of bloody lips, though. No other band in the world can do this and pull it off.
This is the finest performance I have ever seen the Aggie band give to its great fans. Sometimes I just looks impossible they never cease to amaze me,
One of the years when I was in the Aggie Band, we did a counter-march and went back in. Absolutely crazy. LOL

Imagine being the drum major standing in the middle of the four way cross., that takes discipline to a whole new level
Thanks for posting this...still gives me goose bumps after 30 years.

By far, the most amazing college band anywhere, anyplace or at anytime. Also the best college fight song.
Good bull. Only a bunch of Aggie engineers could take the chaos of what appears will be a train wreck and sort it out as it happens.

i can't believe this is real, must've been a treat to see live
I would pay a ticket to watch them💯
The largest Military Marching Band "IN THE WORLD". WHOOP!!!
Computer special effects? Los Angels freeway at rush hour? Just get to the other side and back in formation? Great show and great band.
The best of the best! Know doubt!!!
At 5:57 you can see a trumpet player towards the lower middle fall behind and almost miss their spot, but amazingly they're able to recover from it
Interestingly the A&M and UT fight songs are the only university fight songs that by the second verse are talking aobut the rival school.
Absolutely awesome!
I was at that game on the second row from the field
How does the head drum major not die every time in the middle of the cross??
is it just mirror did they collide quite a bit in the middle
full contact marching
Whooooooooop! '85
wow!
is this legal?
Impressionnant
The make it look so easy.....
Fightin' Texas Aggie Band? Whom do they fight? each other, since there's no one else on the field?
Fastest way to break your teeth
*2015
+Arsonist75205 Thanks, fixed it!
....the NFL invited Ohio state to perform in London...........why, I have NO idea.....this band shits all over it!
Micheal Beers The NFL is nothing more than a political machine now. "Texas" and "Military" aren't politically correct.
