It‘s very affordable. I bought some tuners for it and they were only 7 bucks!

the piece of 'veneer' is probably cedar, it keeps the cigars fresher smelling. Cool build . . .

@@CMRWoodworks It also performs as separator between t\he layers of cigars. Useful if you want to veneer the headstock!
It also keeps tobacco beetles out.
@@TheDirtBiter I use the liners to make smaller instruments like strum sticks as well (I go through a lot of boxes). Nearly as thin as what I sand my hardwood sides and backs to without any work. Use everything, discard nothing.
