He walked in The Old School, stage for our latest educational video, with The Lard’s greasiest cocktail; The Muppet Mash. Hard to comb and cut, but still a dream for every barber. Because most of them love that real old school greaser style Jiri has. After a Pompadour cut from The Butcher he smeared and styled his own hair, an absolute jaw dropping feast for the eyes.

This is without doubt one of the most beautiful haircuts on You Tube. I estimate that I have watched this video at least 100 times and you, your handsome model and his magnificent mane of hair get better with each watching. I have a client who also had beautiful hair perfect for this look and I think he is almost convinced to let me transform him into a proper greaser! I followed this video with enthusiasm because I worked as a hairdresser in Germany in the 90s. We still learned the classic knife cut, like with this Elvis men's haircut. I come from the rockabilly psychobilly scene and these cuts were my specialty. I love it! At that time there were still old master hairdressers who only cut these hairstyles with a knife, just like in the 50s. Finally, you point and thin out the hair. You guys are simply the best. The pink reuzel was my first ever pomade, and duuuude, a whole world opened up. Formerly having thin hair and partially balding, now with full hair and a heavy oil/wax based pomade user.
And this just because the pink reuzel tin was left open by the prior customer at my barber.

I love the way these guys cut hair. I wish you guys had a shop in LA. Every time I go to a local barber its like pulling teeth trying to get the barbers not to cut my parietal ridge so I can part my hair properly. It pisses me off when they cut it too short. It's like they don't wanna listen to how I like my hair cut and don't care that I style it a certain way everyday.

I love that you push a section to the side sometimes, saying you don't know what ur gonna do with it yet. In school and early in my career I was always told you have to know exactly what ur gonna do before you start. Which i found limiting. I'm a HUGE fan of REUZEL and recommend your products to all of my clients.

Hey nice work man, apologies for the hard time i used to give you guys, i was in a dark place in my love for the trade. I left barbering after ten years as here in new zealand the scene is very fake and hollow and all the old guard barbers retired but they were my heroes and the new guard... meh... gross new age barbers mostly trained by average level hairdressing schools who cut nothing like the traditional barbers they claim to be/dress up like and are also not paid very well for the job expected in this day and age (good luck getting any sort of contract too) so i became a plumber and i am doing well again. But as a dad i have retained and still practice and refine my cuts and i may even return in future to start a old style shop doing easy cuts at an easy price, no frills just skills, and will use the fakeness to set the stage for my return and bring it back home when im too old to carry power tools and dig holes all day!

Just found your channel, and I going to say what you already know, "You're wonderfully Amazing" I only wish I had someone like you as an instructor when I was in Barber school which was over 35 years ago. Because of your work, I was able to become Reuzel ambassador and brand coach in my country in just 2 years of practice. Your technique is easy, yet provides foreseeable results every time. Which not only I enjoy, but also my clients for the next month after the haircut 😄
As a side note: I do understand that grease these days isn’t most wanted type of hair product, but is there any chance that we will get something like a really shiny light hold any time soon? All that matte texture is cool and all, but can you give a little love for the old schoolers once again, please?

And to think I came so close to being a model for cut by this great barber and even better human being. But alas it wasn't meant to be. I arrived a bit late to the casino in Vegas where there was a cosmo/hair expo taking place. I didn't get the cut but I did meet the gents and they were gracious enough to spend a few minutes with me chatting about hair pomade (I was totally geekin out!) I got a pic and a bag of hair goodies. That day I vowed come hell or high-water I'll get that cut someday. ✂️
