    Mr. Quintero:
Congratulations. Today is the one-year anniversary of this video's publication. Watched it numerous times, and hope to watch it many more times. Your two videos are the standard by which all others should aspire.
    Best to you sir, always.

Thanks B&H, Joey is a great speaker with great style and definitely good teacher"est". The info were very useful and helpful for me to decide on the gear I want to buy in the future. I have been learning with Adorama.com until I receive your email today. Keep the info flowing, teach people to take pictures, they will become your customers.

A little stiff on the "F8 rule ", but except that, Joey Quintero is a real charm to listen and learn from. Great workshop B&H ! Oh! and the model's jaw was one real error of composition in my book, but again, very very pleased with the quality of education of this man educated and intelligent.

I have a couple of questions, and please feel free if this is the appropriate forum to ask:
    1. If one added a focusing light to the set up with the one beauty dish (just like Joey had in this video), would one have to adjust the light power output, but using the inverse square law or by moving our subject?
    2. how much would you say one would have to spend to get a good quality main light? Thank you for the video. I learned a lot! Anna

Can’t find again the name of the photographer he referred on the video that only uses one light. It is a master.

A focusing light shouldn't impact your exposure but using light ratios, if the output of the focusing light is less than your main light, it shouldn't have a significant affect on your exposure. Some lights have the ability to be dimmed or the power lowered. You can also use filters or diffusion materials to cut down the light. Moving a light source away from your subject will also reduce the illumination on your subject. Please E-mail me for recommendations.
