everyone talking about how great this show was; and it was! - *However* everyone ignoring the fact that Israel said Dricus owned slaves (in the context of a deep past); as if he had a role in that … that was disgusting - One man actually had servants, the other actually did not own slaves.
In fact, if you play “the past” game of historical context - Africans by number owned the most amount of Africans via slave trade, whether it was hereditary chattel slavery or not…. It was still enslaving other humans….
