In these dramas, they love to use the excuse that these women tricked them into marriage as a justification for mistreating them for years. But even if they DID “trick” you, that didn’t stop these men from taking all of the benefits of married life. If you’re going to take that stance then you need to live a totally separate life from your wife. Not sleep with them, have them cleaning, making meals, running the house hold, and attending functions on your arm as your wife. Just hypocritical and selfish to the core.

But I will never understand why women push so hard to be with men that don’t really want them. I’m half way through this one and in the flash back scenes there are times where he is sweet and loving to her and I’m sure she held on to those moments and totally forgot all of the mean and heartless things he said and did.

The ml's only saving grace is that the evil lady was not his mistress. She was the girlfriend of his deceased brother. And in the five years, never touched her. You could even tell he barely tolerated her and would have kicked her to the curb sooner if it weren't for the nephew. He really did love the fl, but I still wanted fl to end up with 2ml. Kids were smarter than the adults.

I am always puzzled as to why these Ml's have a mistress, neglect and abandon the Fl , but when she goes away, they want her back and expect her to forgive him! The Ml and Fl acted with good expression in different situations. The cute child actors were amazing. The actor that played Ann was great as a genius computer whiz, mature thinker and caring brother. The actor that played Horry was great as a secretly abused child and I have seen his great acting in other dramas. Little Lolo was adorable as the sick twin. The 2nd Fl was great as an evil, psychotic and abusive mother. I love that the producer included the children in presenting evidence to prove the evil women guilty of her crimes. and the truth about her setting the fire was revealed. Excellent moral storylines, good acting by the entire cast and well-written. A better ending would have been for the Fl to stay with the guy who helped her for 5 yrs. Worth watching.

Did you watch the whole drama? Because the son was not his. It was his brothers, The evil sister was never his mistress and he had no idea what she had done to his wife.

Forgiving such a man is not logical, just as accepting self-harm with a knife is unacceptable. A man who abandoned his wife and spent years happily with another woman cannot genuinely be happy or regretful upon seeing his ex-wife.
He is much better than the other version. He never got a chance to confess.. N hes not happy with the other woman. They show he cries bcoz he miss his wife. Other ML of different version of this story did not even have this scene
I wish more dramas would be made with the abuser paying for his. Abuse of the wife. And the sweet wife end up with a wonderful loving husband. Now that would be a great drama.

He didn't like the other woman that much. He put up with her because she was his brother's other half. He wasn't that happy.
He didn't abandon her , she was only framed by the other lady and her husband didn't even know, I read the full story, and the other boy is not even his , the boy belongs to his brother who died he's only taking care of him and so that lady is forcing herself to him but he never fell for her

我不覺得渣耶 他後面劇本可是捐血用命去換 最後還用生命証明自己愛老婆呢 只是老婆被惡女劇本騙又憤怒衝昏頭 我是覺得最後那刀子也不短因該插進心臟然後就涼涼死去 腎捐給女兒救命這樣最好 男主有後悔愛自己老婆而不知道 最後因該也要有女主得知真相後逼死男主後在後悔 這樣結局會更讚

This was very funny... the son did some funny shit to his dad..LOL. The actors were all good and so was the story line
Finally, maybe there is a Director that knows how to take a revenge in a movie.
This drama never mentioned the brother dying or the the 2FL's baby was his like in previous versions. The whole first part made it seem like the ML had an affair with the FL2 and the little boy was the ML's baby. I like the introduction of the 3rd child although the abuse scene broke my heart. He seems so fragile and awkward. So desperate for a friend. I also like how we saw the regret in the ML's heart early in the movie at the loss of the FL in the fire. It wasn't a last minute afterthought at the end trying to wrap everything up. Also, I like how he never tried to threaten taking away his son to control her like in other versions. It was always him trying to find a way back to her. I wish the little sister was more involved. They never showed him finding out about her or her getting better. Anyways, I liked this version. 🙂💕
They only mentioned the brother's death and his baby towards the end... At 1:56:02 the ML's horrible mother talks about his brother's accidental death and her finding out about Meng Yao being pregnant with his child....
Como eu torci para ela ficar com o cara que ficou com ela e as duas criancas por cinco anos. Fico chateada pois ele merecia muito. Enquanto o protagonista que fez o que fez, resove ama-la depois de perde-la e depois de faze-la sofrer. As crianças deram um show, principalmente o gêniozinho da computação. Mas vale a pena assistir.

Don't know what sort of world all you guys live in but I do understand that with age I'm getting rather cantankerous. In no world of mine would that grand mother 'ever' (EVER) be allowed in my house again, grandkids or not. But then, as a male I can't imagine ever giving the male lead a second shot at the marriage. I've always believed if you want loyalty, faithfulness and respect from people, you give them all first. Based on this, I may forgive, but I would never forget.

Se puede ver aunque el comienzo es bastante desagradable por los agravios e injusticia que sufre la protagonista principal el resto de la trama es su regreso fortalecida y con otra identidad busca justicia para ella y sus hijos y aunque hay veces la malvada la sorprende pero con cierta inteligencia y audacia procede lo que la hace sobresalir e inducir a que se descubra toda la verdad, y en el caso del protagonista aunque se da cuenta que algo pasaba y máxime con su poder le falto un poco de audacia y rapidez para descubrir y castigar a los maquiavelicos y malvados agresores como la supuesta madre de su sobrino al final si se analiza el fue quién propició todo.

If he paid a little more attention to what's going on around him. He would have noticed that his brothers child was being abused. Same goes for the grandmother. They both were seeing blind and selfish that they didn't care to pay attention to their surroundings. As a fatherfigure and grandmother they are just as guilty as the mother.
I don't think I would forgive him and the grandmother. Your wife and later children are number one. Not the one that's pregnant with your brothers child. If he can't do that. He should have ask himself why he is married to the FL.
He betrayed the FL in an awefull way knowing very well that it would hurt her. FL wasn't important enough and he showed it. Nope I wouldn't go back.
Those children were really adorable and not annoyingly smart and didn't do things to force an relationship. I loved that. The child did everything to protect his mother and take revenge for her. They did a good job with the children. Being a genius won't say there isn't a child next to his/her smart brain. You saw an smart kid that is also a 5 year old child. A really good job.

I would've preferred the FL to end up with the SM..To me, it doesn't matter that the ML wasn't the one who tried to kill the FL. If he hadn't let his mistress have the opportunity, it wouldn't have happened. The men never seem to realize it is their fault for condoning the mistress's actions by letting her hand all over him and staying around where she shouldn't be. The SM took care of FL and protected her for 5 years. SM has GOT to be better than a murderer's accomplice.

Sooooooo I liked this version of the plot. Some intense moments but a lot of laughable ones also. All the actors were good. Kids were great. Not sure why the FL was going to let the ML die if she needed his kidney 🤷🏾♀️. It has a complete ending so that's a plus ➕.....on to the next!!!!

See if it were me and that evil girl tried to burn me alive, then after I escaped I would bide my time and pay her (and the old guy who kidnapped me and poured the petrol) back, not just accept it and forget about it like the FL does....so unrealistic....and what about that ML ? he treated her badly for the three years he was married to her and showed so much caring to the 2FL instead....then at 1:57:25 he has the audacity to say to the FL.." I always thought I hated you, but when I find out you died in the fire I was devasted"...yeah, how consoling of him....I'd tell him to take a long walk on a short pier.......and another thing...he stabs himself to show his "sincerity"....why didn't he use that knife when the evil 2FL had his mother in a headlock and was about to cut her throat...now all of a sudden he has a knife in his pocket ? LOL
