Три дня в Бангкоке. Bangkok Is The Capital Of Thailand.

Прилетели в Бангкок утром на Финнайре из Хельсинки. Отвезли вещи в отель Furama Silom. Позавтракали. Пошли прогуляться по окрестностям мегаполиса до заселения в отель.

Недалеко был Lumpini парк с водяными варанами. Очень красивый. Вараны и небоскребы. Почему то по-английски слово варан переводится как monitor. Я не знаю в чем тут дело, но местами встречаются странные надписи, типа будте осторожны с мониторами. И эти мониторы везде ползают в парке как у нас белочки, только что по деревьям не скачут. Орешки давать не пробовал.
К двум часам вернулись в отель и расположились в номере. Отличный я вам скажу номер на 19 этаже - ванна, прекрасный вид с балкона. Спать не стали, решили дотянуть до вечера и начать утро с чистого листа адаптируясь под смену часового пояса.
Вечер провели на небоскрёбе Mahanakhon Sky Walk. Это тот самый дом с пикселями. Заплатили денюжку, взлетели на лифте на семьдесят какой то этаж, обулись в синие бахилы и пошли погулять по стеклянному полу небоскреба. А тут и бар, и закат и все сложилось хорошо и уютно.
День второй. Сели в метро. Прокатились до Сиам Центра, там прошлись немного пешком до кошачьего кафе Катурдей (Caturday). Таких кошачьих кафе в городке Бангкоке много. Но мы выбрали самое известное в королевстве Таиланд. И хотя страна расположена на берегу Сиамского залива, сиамских котов мы там не наблюдали. Все были пушистики какие то. Часа два провозились с кошками. Даже кофе не попили.
После кафе с кошками сели на пароходик и проехали вверх по реке Chao Phraya до Wat Arun Храма Утренней Зари полного азиатских туристов. Затем опять по реке но вниз. И уже в сумерках посмотрели Китай-город (China Town). День пролетел со свистом.
С утра посетили еще одно кошачье кафе, которых в Бангкоке множество, но все таки Caturday остался нашим фаворитом. Затем на метро поехали на семейный рынок Чатучак. Нам ничего не нужно и потому мы там ничего не купили, ни рыбок, ни птичек, купили две рюмочки, что бы было из чего выпить тайский виски Hong Thong. Добили вечер в торговом центре Siam Centre.
Завтра едем в Хау Хин.
Three wonderful days in Bangkok. Part one. Arrival. Lumpini Park.
We arrived in Bangkok in the morning in Finnair from Helsinki. We took our things to the Furama Silom hotel. We had breakfast. We went for a walk around the outskirts of the metropolis before checking into the hotel. Nearby was Lumpini Park with water monitor lizards. Very beautiful. Monitor lizards and skyscrapers. In some places there are inscriptions like “be careful with monitors.” And these monitors crawl everywhere in the park, like our squirrels, except they don’t jump in the trees. I haven't tried giving him nuts.
By two o'clock we returned to the hotel and settled for a room. I'll tell you, the room on the 19th floor is excellent - bath, beautiful view from the balcony. I didn’t sleep, I decided to hold out until the evening and start the morning with a clean slate, adapting to the change in time zone. The evening was spent on a skyscraper.
Second day. We got on the subway. We got to the Siam Center, where we walked a little to the cat cafe Caturday. There are many such cat cafes in Bangkok. But we chose the most famous in the kingdom of Thailand. And although the country is located on the shores of the Gulf of Thailand, we did not see Siamese cats there. They were all kind of fluffy. We spent two hours fiddling with the cats. We even drank coffee.
After the cafe with cats, we boarded a boat and drove up the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn, full of Asian tourists. Then again along the river but down. And already at dusk we saw China Town. The day flew by with a whiz.
In the morning we visited another cat cafe, of which there are many in Bangkok, but still Caturday remained our favorite. Then we took the metro to the Chatuchak family market. We didn’t need anything and that’s why we didn’t buy anything there, no fish or birds, we bought two glasses so we could drink some Thai Hong Thong whiskey. We ended the evening at the Siam Center shopping center.
Tomorrow we are going to Hau Hin.
